You can learn more about your magic and get a degree at the same time," she bargained with a sales representative's smile. I giggled at her antics. She was right, it was a sweet deal and I was certain that I could handle the pressure of learning magic and getting a degree but I was still hesitant.

Some of the recipes in the book had ingredients like a two day old crow's blood, the crushed bark of a cider tree, four leaved clovers, mint leaves that had bloomed in the summer and many other bizarre ingredients.

Clara kisses his cheek, which perks him up immediately. “Okay, Maddie. We need a color scheme for the night.” I look around them all, and everyone is looking at me. “Pack colors are black and silver because of our name and the shine of the moon.” I nod. I want to incorporate that, but maybe add something else. “Your magic was deep forest green yesterday, baby.” Liam says, again reading my mind. “How about we do deep green and silver?” I ask, and Cianna makes a note on her notepad.

I didn't have the first clue and a small whine escaped from me as I tried to figure it out. Derek understood my dilemma, "Just relax, take a deep breath, and concentrate hard on being human. While Cursed Greed Magic can steal someone's magic partially or completely, Leviathan’s Cursed Magic can make him copy someone's magic and use it at his own advantage,” he disclosed to me, adding to my astonishment. “What the fudge!” I said mentally. My though came into halt when I heard Almirah’s voice trying to bring back Suzaine into her senses. “Hey, Suzaine, wake up. Come back to your senses,” the woman gushed out, tapping the woman’s cheeks.
