I smiled as I walked into the closet and Velia and Diana helped me put it on. The base of the gown was a rich, deep shade of royal blue, akin to the vast, starry night sky. It shimmered with a subtle luminescence as if tiny stars were embedded within the fabric itself. The gown was designed to flow gracefully around my figure, accentuating my natural elegance and poise.

What is so complicated about it? " Well, what do I say? I like all colours. It depends on my moods and seasons. " " Like really?? " " Yes... In summers, I like all pastel colours especially baby pink, icy blue and lemon yellow. In winters I like red, blue, black, white...." "Oh, God!! Let me rephrase my question, which colour you don't like much? " " Ok... Green. But I like some shades of it too. " I rolled my eyes at her answer. She is so cute.

I moved the paper aside and gasped. It was a gown made of the most beautiful silk I had ever seen. The color was hard to describe. It wasn't navy, and it wasn't royal blue. It was a deep, icy, shimmering shade of blue that looked like the ocean at midnight. It was cold and beautiful all at once. "It’s... it’s amazing," I whispered, reaching out to touch the fabric. It was cool against my skin. "That color has a name," Cade said, standing behind me. He placed his hands on my shoulders. "In the fashion world, they call it 'Miller Blue.' My mother had it created years ago. It’s the color of my family. It’s the color of my company."

He stands and passes it to her; she holds it up in the light, it’s almost iridescent with thin veins of black running through it. “Labradorite. That particular shade is a little rarer than some, but it does go rather well with the blue Damascus, I thought.” She nods, “I have an idea for the board, inspired by your design of the pieces.” She inclines her head and moves the pieces aside so he has room. He smirks and waves his staff around a bit, and a simple, but very elegant board appears.

I feel my face heat in a blush and Bennett chuckles at me. I hear the sounds of popping and bones breaking when suddenly I hear the woosh of air pass by me. His eyes shining bright yellow and his scales glistening in the sunlight, almost turning a green color in the light. He spreads his wings and he looks as tall as my apartment complex and even wider, likely the size of a football field. "Wow." I murmur under my breath and Bennett chuckles.

I paced around nervously while she just laughed at me. "Calm down missy." "Calm down?, I'm meeting his mom, his freaking mother Naomi, how the hell can I be calm?" She was lindwurm type dragon with a long flat tail like a crocodile’s. Her arms were webbed and had fins on the side. She had deep blue eyes and frills on her cheeks. She also had three horns on top of her head that curved to the back. The scales on most of her body were dark blue from her spiked spine and became lighter as it went to her under belly until it was white. Upon better look, Matthew noticed that she had gills behind the frills.

For the past centuries, Soles from either sides hadn't found the Vermilion yet. This Vermilion was the one power that could stop the other. This was the reason as to why the world had still been experiencing two opposing forces; light and dark, good and evil. Because no one had succeeded in finding the power source Vermilion yet. This was the reason why the Vermilion was so important to be found and be kept, especially by the Ibawnons, so as to maintain the balance of the world. For if the Malignobons would have it, nothing but darkness and chaos would surely be spread to the whole world.
