Novel & Cerita Cobra Kai Anthony Larusso

Warrior Robbie “You fucking what!” I bellow unable to rein in my anger. I don’t mean to blurt the words out, but Nick gave me the reins of control here, so I’m just going to go with it. “They have my mate.” Alberto huffs out as his body appears to relax. Is he relieved that he told us? My reaction to his words is to call bullshit but something inside of me holds me back. I think Nick was right to want to listen to him before acting because, while I’m not sure if he’s 100% telling me the truth, I’m also not sure that he isn’t.

He moved with the silent lethality of a panther, catching Ava effortlessly with one arm before she hit the ground. He scooped her up, cradling her against a leather jacket that smelled of high-octane fuel, night rain, and violence. The collar of his shirt was open, revealing the intricate ink of a black serpent winding its way around his collarbone, its jaws open in a silent roar. Kai Reyes. The King of the New York Underground. The man who made the NYPD nervous and the mafia respectful. Rumor had it that even Landon Voss, the city's golden boy tycoon, wouldn't cross the street if Kai was walking down it.

Alleys twisted like secrets, slick with water and something older. A black car howled across cobblestone. Tires screamed against wet tile. Inside, bass thundered—an unapologetic rock anthem swallowing the silence. Kai gripped the wheel with one hand, the other dangling a half-empty bottle of rum. Anthony and Mario, his closest men, shouted lyrics like war chants, reckless and free. His phone buzzed. Kai raised a hand. “Shut up.” He answered without checking. “Yeah, boss,” he said, smirking—his tone softening only slightly for his older brother.

“Yeah. Just… ran into him. Again. Same guy from the mall with Isabella. Same attitude.” Luca whistled low. “That’s Kai.” “Kai?” “Yeah. Kai Rivera. Junior. Business major. Skate crew. Total asshole, but he’s… useful. Knows everyone. Gets shit done.” He paused. “Straight, though. Rumors say he’s got a girlfriend—some sorority girl. But as his friend, I can tell you: he doesn’t do girlfriends. Just sleeping buddies. Lots of them. Doesn’t commit. Doesn’t care.”

He says through the mindlink, then, once in place, he calls out the order to get into the vehicles. Darius and I climb into the double passenger seat of Anastasia's van and she greets us with a nod, her eyes scanning the horizon as she pulls away. When I look behind me I see half a dozen warriors, including Harrison, the former Beta of Cateline's pack, all grim faced and staring out the back window of the vehicle. The atmosphere is tense as we follow the convoy of vans and when no one says anything about us peeling off individually, I figure they've already been briefed on the plan.

The other boy, a child called Bruno, had told him he was a loser who would spend his life in prison like his Daddy. "Well, he's silly," I said. "You're going to be a world-famous animator. Everyone knows that. But remember what the counsellor said about using your words and not your fists?" Isaac puffed out his chest, jutting his chin out just like Kobe used to when he was trying to look tough. "My daddy said that real men..."

He started drinking the other bottle and there was footsteps heard by the door making me turn my head to see Harvey and Mike. "Louis told us that you had a wolf and we wanted to see." Harvey said making me smile. They walked closer to Kai and when they got close enough they had smiles on both of their faces. "A boy or girl?" Mike asked. "Boy and his name is Kai Luca Romano." I said making all of them smile at his name that I gave him. "A perfect name for a handsome wolf." Harvey said making me nod my head. Kai finished the second bottle then let out a happy yip. "You want more?" I asked making him huff.

“What fish do we have to fry Carlos?” “The one and only, notorious Mafia Don in Orthus. Don Russo.” Master Carlos said with a hint of glitter in his eyes. Kara sighed because she knew that planning the perfect plan will be hell and might take weeks because they will be going up against an entire Mafia, “Since were done I’ll be off.” Kara said and left Carlos in the room with his words and thoughts.

She spoke tauntingly making my mouth left ajar in shock and embarrassment…. James Russo! You are going to be fucking death of me!!

Now it was just the two of them against the entire Rossi security force. They burst out into the alley. A black SUV was waiting — Luca’s people. They jumped in as bullets sparked off the metal. The car peeled away. Leo pressed his hand to his bleeding shoulder. Kai was breathing hard beside him, but his eyes were sharp. “We got it,” Leo said. “We actually got it.” Kai nodded. “Now we just have to survive long enough to use it.” The driver handed Leo a phone. “Call from the boss.” Leo answered.
