“YOU TOOK HER—!! YOU—!! YOU—!!” Alexander’s jaw tightened. “I didn’t take anything. But if you touch her— if you hurt her—” His glow flared. A pulse rippled through the clearing. Jay stumbled back from the force. Alexander’s voice dropped into something feral: “—I will stop you.” Jay lunged. The First Strike Jay moved faster than anything human. He slammed into Alexander with enough force to throw him ten meters through the snow. Alexander hit the ground hard. Blood filled his mouth.

Then, I poured the entire cup of coffee over his head. The liquid ran down his face, making him look ridiculous. My voice was flat as I continued, “I’m so disappointed in you. Nova stormed out of the room with the toys. “Nova!” I screamed, scrambling up and chasing after him. “Give them back to me! Nova, stop!” He didn’t stop. He marched straight into the kitchen, yanked open a drawer, and pulled out a big, sharp knife. The blade gleamed dangerously under the kitchen light as he raised it over the thick dildo on the counter.

Maximus scurried backwards and I started to circle Kairos. He tracked me in the circle I stalked him in. I was trying to figure out how best to hurt him first. The ribs? Maybe a kick to the head would do it. I was known for my kicks. Just as I was about to make my first strike, Kairos did the unbelievable. It was so shocking, the entire gym was gasping. Something deeper. Kael pressed forward immediately, not giving Aeron time to recover. “You’ve been avoiding me,” he said, voice low but edged.

Their weapons collided. BOOM! The white field cracked. Kael struck from the left. Blocked. From the right. Blocked. Above. Blocked. Every attack was anticipated. Kael jumped backward. “How can you predict me?” The First Kael smiled. “Because I created you.” Kael's eyes narrowed. “Then you should know what I'll do next.” He dropped his weapon. The First Kael blinked. Kael rushed forward with his bare hands.
