He suddenly breathed a sigh of relief when the lady requested for the footage to be sent to her ASAP. *** “Shit! That fool messed up my plans.” Coco smashed the wine bottle in her hands, which fell onto the floor with a loud crashing sound. The white woolen carpet suddenly seemed like it was stained with blood, and the sight caused raw fear to course through her body. This may look like a little mishap, but it sure would spell a lot of trouble for her. “Miss…” Her assistant rushed into the room when she heard the weird sound of something crashing so early in the morning. She had just arrived to update her about her schedule for the day but ended up meeting her in a terrible mood.

The door swung open to reveal him in a pair of sleep pants and nothing else. "Yes, Princess?", he asked as he opened the door wider to let her in. "I know this is a weird question but can I crash on your couch?", She asked. He looked her over as he could plainly see she was beyond exhausted and ready to fall over. "Problems with your place?", he asked. "They are there, and they won't leave.", she stated. "Who are they exactly?", he asked as she sat on the couch. "My team.", she said. "The east coast main blue team."

I scowl as I take my last steps. "Dex, no!" Veronica shouts and I’m not fast enough to see it coming. Sam lets go of her wrist and pushes Veronica to the side. She crashes against the floor and my eyes immediately go to her. "Veronica!" I mutter in shock but my gaze on her makes me lose my focus on Sam and I’m unable to dodge it as he swings at me, hitting me square in the jaw.

His hands and legs trembled as he fought the urge to fly across the track and make him pay hard. The train inched forward as another loud blare sounded in the distance, this time, much closer. Both men stood their ground, heaving, unflinching, and unwilling to back off, their eyes spitting fire. The train from the other end slapped past, forcing them to abandon their feud. Dev broke the connection and backed up into the compartment with a head that felt like it was about to explode. ***

With one loud crash. Everything goes black.

But at least the pool area had been cleared of any unsavory views. I asked to be dropped off at the nearest boot to school because I didn’t want other students getting the wrong idea, but Ares didn't listen. As we approached the big golden gate, he opened the roof of his car and sped in. The open roof just put us in the spotlight, making us more visible. I bet he felt like a god with that little stunt.
