Riley called out, his voice urgent as he set his uncle down on the truck seat and turned back toward the open alleyway to join me. "There is no time to set up a firing line, Riley, so keep your uncle safe while I clear these four guards from the narrow gap between the walls!" I yelled back, stepping forward fast as the first hitman raised his short rifle toward Riley's chest.
