Red Room The heavy steel door of the Red Room creaked open with a mechanical hiss as Alessandro stepped in. The room was dimly lit, blood-red LED strips casting a sinister glow over the walls, which were lined with old-world books, tech equipment, and weapons both antique and modern. Every corner pulsed with quiet danger, every shadow a reminder of the power that resided here.

I asked following Jake and taking a seat beside him on the bed while I glanced around at the pictures on the walls and the nick knacks that littered every flat surface. “Mine.” Jake uttered, his cheeks pinking slightly for a second and he ducked his head to pull out a box from under the bed. “Hey its your turn to cough up Rig's.” Bubble stated pushing the table over by the bed so Jake and I could reach it and sitting in one of the chairs. “Be right back.” “Cough up what?” I asked, feeling a little wary about this game. “Contraband.” Porter winked and I gasped a little.

James tried to remind Alfonso. “I don’t care, James, no matter how much time you need. Just do what I tell you to do,” Alfonso gave a stern command. “Right, Sir.” Alfonso let out a deep breath. He followed the spines with his fingers and then moved his hands over the masterfully decorated covers with unfamiliar symbols drawn on them. Oliver pulled out one which had a a golden dragon drawn on the black covers. He examined the illustrations inside with interest. He'd never seen anything like this before. He heard the door open and saw Liam. The Lord closed carefully behind him and leaned on the tapestry-covered wall. Oliver returned the book quickly back in its place, but Liam said. "No, you can take it, although I can't say if it's a good one. I can only advise on the German ones."

It was no ordinary book and neither was it meant for ordinary people. ‘’I need to get something for myself’’ Mara says walking onto the shelf hidden at the far end of the room. I tried to concentrate, but my finger was throbbing. The Elder pulled out the large, thickly-paged book and thumbed through it to find his desired page before clearing his throat. Feeling particularly nosey, I pulled one of the books down and looked it over. It had an olive green-colored cover with gold and black depictions drawn all over it. The edges of the pages were bright red and worn, so I knew it was a book that had been thumbed through frequently. I turned it over to look at the title and snickered at what I read: The Occult Truth of Lycanthropy. "The old man always did have an active imagination," I muttered under my breath, smiling as I put the book back on the shelf.
