As it turned out, the villagers were hidden behind icy mountain with snowstorm like this occasionally causing the villagers to see shelther beneath the ground. I feel something strong bite into my skin. My heavy eyes prop open slowly just so I'll find out where I am. "What? Shit!" I bark, jerking up from where I am lying. Snow. I spring to my feet, turning my eyes around for confirmation, and yeah, I am really here. The Cold Mountains. The towering peaks and endless snow have my head reeling. The fog and the whistle in the wind are a reminder that the elders really did well on their promise. A mountain of chill courses down my spine, and I'm left shivering in the cold, my breath fogging.

Chapter 59: The Final Shift The first big snowstorm of winter hit the mountain ridge hard, covering the whole place in a thick layer of white snow. The main lodge was warm and cozy.
