Cold Water Novelas e Histórias

I pick the first thing that comes to mind, “Water. H2O. Dihydrogen Oxide. Molecular weight: 18.015. Clear, colorless, odorless. Possible states of matter: liquid, solid, gas. Freezes at zero degrees centigrade, boils at one hundred degrees centigrade. Essential for life.” When I can manage sitting up, I turn the cold water on in the tub. I wait for it to get about three quarters full and fall in like a baby seal into the ocean, letting my head go completely underwater. I don’t even care that water splashes all over the floor. There is a small amount of relief from the cold water, but I know it would be better with ice floating i

"Don't be." Thomas fell silent and crouched down near the river, splashing his face. The cool water slipped between his lips and made him shudder. It tasted so pure, soothing his raw throat and refreshing his skin. Even though the water met the sea, it had no taste of salt or any rot that the brine carried.

I don't want this. I foolishly thought that applying something damp to it might relieve me of the raw feeling and even lower the redness imprint of his palm. I rushed for a small towel hanging nearby and started the cold water. The cold makes me suck in air and raises tiny bumps all over my skin as the fat droplets of water roll down my naked leg and to the floor until a small puddle begins to form around my feet.

I turned the faucet on and let the tub fill with cold water. I dipped myself under the embrace of the cold water to calm down the iching that was on my skin. There were several red patches over the skin and the burning didn't stop at all. The cold water does ease the burning but not for too long. After spending a good time in the water, I stepped out and inspected the patches on my chest, some of them were blistering as if I was set on fire.

Ice cold water hit Kade the moment he pressed the old rusty lever, thousands of droplets raining down on him like needles, slicing into his flesh. The moment the brutal shower hit his bruised and bloodied skin, he gritted his teeth, shuddering as the cold sank painfully into his bones. Blood quickly turned the water a pinkish red colour as it swirled around the dirty plug hole and the sound of his breath ricocheted off the tiles like bullets. The early spring night was frigid, winter still clinging to the dark to drop the temperatures to a crisp sharp bite that was only amplified by the frigid water.

It’s too difficult to talk right now. “But it will help you feel better,” he replies. I’m about to beg when Ekaterina interrupts me. “What is she saying?” Ekaterina knew we were mind linking. “She says she’s cold and doesn’t want to be put in cold water,” Theo says, and Ekaterina takes a minute to think. “Coldwater is best, but we can’t submerge her into it. We can put her in water but not cold water. I’ll cast some spells into the water. It’ll reduce her temperature.”

She went down to the canteen to get herself a glass of cold water to clear her mind. "Azura, are you here too?" She turned to look; it turned out to be Alfred and Phelan. She happily talked to them: "Yes. I want to drink something cold." "In winter, you should use warm water so that you won't catch a cold." Alfred gives Azura advice. "You don't always ask me out for ice cream. Now that you say things like that, it turns out that you've always deliberately let me get sick before." Phelan responded to Alfred, making Azura laugh.

“Come on, loser!” “Bite me, jerk!” I call back to him. “Dude, you know she's not going to do it. She's scared of heights. And water. And fish. And lions, and tigers and bears, oh my!” Comes another teasing voice. “You are both jerks!” I yell down at them. “It's really not that bad! Just jump!” Wilder calls up to me. I look down to where he is already in the water, about sixteen feet below me.

But not like this time. "I want cold water." I frowned at him. He still doesn’t take a glass of the non-cold water I am handing him. My arm is already hurting! "That’s not possible, don’t be so stubborn!." I said annoyingly. He asked for water but I didn't give him cold water because it's better than cold water for it will cause coughing. It's better to lead something before it happens, but this person is really naughty. He’s starting with his horrible attitude again.

His eyes were red and swollen from crying and his face was etched with lines of pain. He turned on the faucet and let the cold water fill the bathtub. As he lowered himself into the icy water, he felt a shock run through his body. At first, it was almost unbearable, but then it started to feel soothing, like a balm for his wounded soul. The water was so cold that it almost hurt, but it also helped him forget the pain in his heart for a little while.
