He looked away from the bird perched on his finger and turned to her with a tired expression. “What is it, lady?” he replied, and she gestured for him to look in the direction she was pointing. Asher glanced over nonchalantly and shrugged. “Isn't that Kieran and Seraphina?” he asked, and she nodded her head.

He stopped and turned around, expecting to see Lambert or one of his witches, but it was neither of them. Asher stood there, her red hair flowing wildly around her shoulders in long tangly curls, her lips curled in a seductive smile. She was dressed in a very thin silky material, something that could pass as a nightgown, except this one was particularly too short, even shorter than the one Laurel had worn, revealing all the wrong things in the wrong places.

It was all over when another girl walked into the WC and helped Layla and that miserable woman. When the girl rescued Layla, the party was still underway, but Asher had left to catch his flight to Los Angeles.
