he yelled. "Anything else? Shit? Jerk?" Lynn continued laughing. "You can't even cuss, Mahone. How are you going to make an infinite mirror, huh? Listen, you better get out from this damn room, or I am going to call Father. He's in his study room." Mahone put down his safety glasses and stood up, shooting a passionate glance at his project, "Tu es horrible frère!" Lynn heard that and laughed in mind. "Use at least seventy percent alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, bleach, isopropyl alcohol and wipe the sheets with a microfiber cloth. I hope you find the chemicals in your school lab," he moved away from the door.

He laughed and said, “These aren’t drones. It’s a new development in J&L Corporation’s R&D department. It can be applied in any environment.” “What do you mean?” Clayton patiently explained. “It’s a reaction that happens when a special element is added to fog, which allows the fog to take on a specific color as specified before evaporating. The evaporation process will create the illusion of a meteor shower. But instead of falling, it’s actually going upward.” “But those letters didn’t move at all…” Nicole pointed to the letters that read, “Marry me”, as she asked.

"Or I'll come back over there. And you won't like what happens then." The threat was crystal clear in his eyes. I grabbed the brush with shaking hands, nearly dropped it because my fingers wouldn't work properly. I poured bleach directly onto the stone where the dark stain spread. The fumes hit immediately, sharp and chemical and burning. They seared my eyes, my nose, my already raw throat. Made my lungs seize up until I couldn't breathe at all. I started scrubbing anyway because I had no choice. "Harder," Carmina snapped, her voice sharp as a whip.

"I’ll make sure you never forget." I grabbed the kitchen shears I’d swiped from the drawer. I hacked at the dark hair, watching the long, silky strands fall into the sink like dead things. Then, I grabbed the box of "Golden Honey" bleach I’d seen hidden in the back of the linen closet—the stuff Mom said we were too young for. I didn't care about being young. I didn't care about being pretty. I mixed the chemicals, the smell burning the back of my throat. I slathered it onto my head, my hands shaking with a fury that felt like fire.

But the lemon smell is overpowered by the horrible scent permeating the room. “What’s that awful smell?” I say, waving my hand in front of my nose. “It sucks to have a sensitive wolf nose right about now,” Callan says. “This is bleach. It’s the only thing I could think of to get the bloodstains off the floor.” “Is Ethan okay?” I ask, sitting my backside on one of the chairs. “Other than a bad hangover, he’ll be fine by tomorrow.” Callan grabs a pink-stained towel and wipes the water and bleach from the floor.

No one else could compare. She picked up something from the table with curious eyes. “What’s this?” she asked—and then, before I could react, she sprayed it directly on my face. Whatever that spray was, felt like warm water and I closed my eyes, unable to see for a moment. "I'm sorry! Sorry!" I heard Olivia’s panicked voice. “I’m really sorry, Kaylee! Is that setting spray? I didn’t know you weren't done with your makeup. You already look perfect and—”

" The armored harvesters the Reapers moved forward. Blades spun on their fronts massive, serrated discs designed to cut through the giant cornstalks. Nozzles on their sides began to spray a white mist. Liquid salt. "They're salting the earth!" Martha screamed. The mist hit the outer rows of the corn. The giant stalks withered instantly. They turned brown and collapsed, crumbling into dust. The Gray Children on the porch began to wail. They felt the death of the plants. "Leo!" I shouted. "Stop the spray!" Leo looked at the white mist drifting toward us. "I can't catch a mist," Leo panicked. "It's too diffuse!" "Then don't catch it," Martha yelled. "Blow it away!"

It was one that Bree had opened and used to dirty some of the brushes so it at least looked like they’d used what they were given. “Yep, sure did.” Shawna nodded, but her smile was tight, probably because she didn’t like what Monica was doing to the men, namely Zach. “And the hairspray?” She reached for the can, but Chase snatched it up. “Yep. It’s practically gone, we used so much of it.” He sprayed a little more, sending it well over his head. Monica arched an eyebrow. “Really? That big can?” “I really love me some hairspray.” Chase sprayed more and then began to cough as he breathed in the fumes.

Wyatt, Kira, Justin and even her wicked stepmother…she could smell them all. ‘W-Why…have they come?’ “Spray this on please.” She looked down as Kile outstretched a spray bottle to her. Taking it from his hand, she examined it hesitantly, noticing that within it…was a scent-hiding spray. She was a bit curious why she needed it, but she sprayed it on anyway. “And this…” Kile handed her a patch and gestured to her neck. “Put this on your mark if you want. You don’t have to. We’ll be heading inside now.” “O-Okay…”
