When Love Lasts

When Love Lasts

Well my favorite cafe shop is The Les Deux Magots Les Deux Magots is one of the most well-known cafés associated with the Lost Generation, yet it is not in Montparnasse. Although it is not located in the famous neighborhood, it had a large influence in the interwar period and boasts of its history and literary prestige. The café shares many similarities with the ones in Montparnasse, yet the neighborhood does make a difference.

A Ruthless Revenge: the Billionaire's Ex Wife Is Back

A Ruthless Revenge: the Billionaire's Ex Wife Is Back

“I’ll take partial credit for moral support and very expensive brunch.” We kept walking, her steps buoyant, her joy contagious. And then, without warning, I reached for her hand and tugged her sharply to the side. “Damien—!” she protested as I pulled her into a small souvenir shop packed floor to ceiling with Parisian clichés. “Trust me,” I said, already scanning the shelves. “Let’s act like tourists today.” She crossed her arms. “Absolutely not.” Too late. I grabbed two sweaters—navy blue, obnoxiously emblazoned with PARIS across the chest—and tossed them onto the counter. Then I added two caps featuring an unapologetically glittering Eiffel Tower.

Craved (Book #10 in the Vampire Journals)

Craved (Book #10 in the Vampire Journals)

“There are a few volumes in the world so important that their existence is not public knowledge. These are passed down through generations, held by a network of rare occult bookkeepers. These are volumes they don’t want the public to get a hold of, volumes they would never admit they had. I doubt any library or university would have one. And I doubt any rare bookshop would have any edition officially on record. But that doesn’t mean they don’t have it. You would just need to come to them with the right credentials.” “So are you saying that the other copy definitely exists?” she asked, her heart beating. “I’m not saying there is—I’m saying there is a chance. And if anyone has it, it would be

Her Rebirth, His Regret

Her Rebirth, His Regret

"Noted. Might take you up on that." "You'd better." She squeezed my arm. "Come on. Pastries. I need you distracted by butter immediately." The shop she dragged me into was tucked between a dry cleaner and a shuttered storefront, a place called Le Petit Four with a hand-painted sign and a line out the door that Jane elbowed us through with the practiced ruthlessness of a regular. Inside it smelled like caramelized sugar and strong coffee, warm enough that my glasses fogged for a second, and the noise of the street fell away behind the door like someone had turned a dial.

The chef and The charmer

The chef and The charmer

I didn’t know whether to interrupt it. “Should we go out today?” I asked gently. “Just you and me. No headlines. No war rooms.” He looked up, blinking slowly like I’d pulled him from the deepest cave of thought. “Out?” “A bookstore. A walk. Parisian pastry theft from that overpriced corner café down the street.” He huffed a small laugh. “You and your sugar crimes.” I smiled, but I didn’t miss how that flicker of joy vanished just as fast. His eyes returned to the papers. His body, still half-present.

The Alpha's Fight for His Omega

The Alpha's Fight for His Omega

Since we had time before we met up with Robert, and Beth we decided to go to the comic book store Chastity told me about. As soon as we walked in the door a huge smile spread across my face. Chastity hadn’t been wrong about the amount of Marvel items they had. I heard Chastity giggle, and I looked at her questioningly. “You should see your face right now. You look like a pup in a candy store.” Chastity said between her giggles. “I guess I kind of am.” I responded with a chuckle. “Go look around.”

Author has responded, this book is NOT continued on another app. I went back to try and find it on that app but it is now gone from my library. This IS the full book and is not continued elsewhere. Sorry that I misspoke. Loved this story & wish author had more books to enjoy.

I Saved the Mafia Boss—Now I'm His Obsession.

I Saved the Mafia Boss—Now I'm His Obsession.

I replied, weaving us through the busy sidewalk crowd. We found a cute corner of the city. We were laughing about the time Dante accidentally bought an entire shipment of novelty socks instead of encryption software when something across the street caught my eye. It wasn't a fancy restaurant or another boutique. It was a brightly lit, grungy-looking shop tucked between a bakery and a vape store. The window was covered in flash art and dark sketches. The sign above the door, done in aggressive Gothic lettering, simply read, INK. It was a tattoo parlor.

I just finished this book - and I am SAT. The emotions I went through, the characters - I read everything and I can’t move on from Maddie and Adriano. I love the way you write and I love this world you have created. How does it feel to have so much power? Please keep writing.

Cracking His Code

Cracking His Code

There’s a rolled strip of paper inside, a tiny square with words on it that I can’t make out from up here. Kir reads it without lifting it to the light, then grinds the paper into the crack between two cobbles with the heel of his boot. His eyes come up to mine. "Saint," he says. I let out a slow breath. Of course it’s Saint. The man could disappear in a crowd of two and still come out with someone’s wallet. “Where?” “Eighteenth arrondissement. We walk.” The address turns out to be a flat two floors above a boulangerie that opens at five in the morning and smells, even from the stairs, like something a man might commit a felony for.

FAMILY SECRET: CLAIMING MY FATHER'S TOY

FAMILY SECRET: CLAIMING MY FATHER'S TOY

I make coffee, open my laptop, and I look for her. Amélie Dubois, galerie, Paris. She has a website. Clean, elegant, white space and good photography, the kind of site that costs serious money to build and looks like it cost nothing. Galerie Dubois, 4 Rue de Seine, Saint-Germain. Established eight years ago. She represents twelve artists. Her bio is three sentences, deliberately minimal, telling you just enough to know she doesn't need to tell you more.

The First Heir

The First Heir

Niffler said fiercely. The woman was an ordinary person who had never encountered such a scene and was speechless with fright. “I’m talking to you,” Niffler said impatiently. He would not have grabbed her if she did not mention the two names. The woman trembled but finally mustered up the courage to tell him. “Bijou Parlor is a well-known store. It used to occupy an important position in our city, but its status dropped when Treasure House opened!” The old woman quickly summarized the situation.
