Comic Book Store Open Now Novels & Stories

"THANK you and have a nice day!" I smiled at the two high schoolers as I handed them the bag of comics they'd purchased in the bookstore. It was already my third day at work. Edward's Bookshop was a five-year-old bookstore located at Conrad Blvd. Aside from different types of books, the bookstore also sells comics, magazines, stationers, CDs, souvenirs, and collection items. Today, I was assigned behind the cash register. "Those teens looked smitten by you."

"It will only be a matter of minutes before we welcome them into our home. And, as I had predicted, there was a long wait outside the building." Then Amira said, "By the way, boss, Could you please elaborate on what you were referring to earlier?" When George remembered what he had been talking about before, there was a burst of applause from him. "According to the schedule, it will be open later in the afternoon today. My staff, who was the only person in the shop, said that he needed to do something."" What kind of store is it, please? Can you tell me what kind of store that is hahaha?" Amira asked, her voice brimming with excitement.

The little triangle thing, he suddenly wondered if it had a name, was pointing to yes. The window on the other side of the door asked “Do I really need another candle?” The magic 8 ball underneath it had the answer of “Yes – Definitely” On the door in elegant script was Botanica Wiccan Bookstore, established 2006 Ciara Goode, Proprietess In both windows were elaborate and beautiful displays of books, candles, crystals, tarot cards and novelties. Working up his courage, Knuckles got off his bike and walked inside. He had expected the whole place to be dark and broody.

Behind the bar counter, I positioned myself and poured a glass of orange juice, making sure to clarify to myself that I wasn't stealing. This establishment, known as J. Son Paradise, was a unique hybrid of a two-story comic book store and coffee shop, owned by my family. With its red and blue vinyl booths, stools, and rows upon rows of comic books and merchandise neatly displayed on shelves, the place exuded a nostalgic diner vibe blended with a modern comic store aesthetic. There were 85 such stores around the world, but the original one was right here in Philadelphia. Over the years, the store had undergone several major renovations. The second floor used to house offices for a comics publ

DIANE Shopping was nice. I bought my pencils, socks and gloves. I even got myself Chinese takeout for dinner and a couple new comics from the bookstore near the condo. The bookstore, Supernova Comics, is a lovely sight to behold. The interior is beautiful, serene, filled with tall shelves containing so many cool comics, and there's even a cozy mini reading spot at the far end of the store. Mrs Jones, the bookstore owner, was nice and very hospitable to me. My shopping experience there was amazing, and I even see myself probably visiting there whenever I need to treat myself to a comic getaway.

— If you want, I'll lend you mine – there's still a silly smile on his lips – it's not the same as in your books, but it's enough to kill the nostalgia. — I'll think about the proposal – I scratched my beard, trying to throw all my worries away – there isn't a bookstore in this town. And the stores here open at nine. — A pity – I watched her take the last sip of ice cream and start biting the crunchy cone – although there isn't much to buy here, so it doesn't matter if it opens at nine or eleven. — I hate shopping online – I said with a despondent air, because I hadn't known how it felt to buy anything online for a long time – do you like coffee?

A place where we used to shop books with. I suddenly sucked a deep breath when a sudden pangs crept inside me. Just staring at this place brings nothing but sadness as memories from this place kept reminding me of everything I lost from the past. The same glass-walls from ten years ago stood before me with a scripted name of the store fadely printed on it. The Genius' books. An 'Open' sign was hanged at the glass door, indicating that they're still open. 'Let's take a picture! Hands on the walls and say cheeese!'

There is no mate bond, but having him close makes me feel more secure. “I can’t wait for you to see this.” He rubs his thumb on the top of my hand as he leads me to a store. It’s rare Bronx gets so excited about surprising me. We approach a bookstore with a dusty, old window display. In gold paint, there is a picture of a pan flute and a goat. The images are peeling and sundried as if they’ve been there forever. Over the pictures are the words ‘The Barded Goat Used & Collectible Books’.

But unlike last time, this place surprisingly looked… clean… “This place doesn’t have any undiscovered bacteria and viruses.” Archer whispered in my ear from behind, making me shiver in surprise. “I think.” He added. He placed his arm around my waist as he led me to the shop which was still open. “Why is this place still open?” I asked him as we entered the diner. “The good thing about pizza is that it can be eaten at any given time. So this shop is open 24-7.” He explained. I nodded as I took a seat in the corner booth with Archer sitting right in front of me.

“Hm, I like to read comics but that does not mean I like to come to events nor hate it. I've never even tried to go there or find it around.” But for the bookstore Bazaar it is another story, Debbie was deliberately looking for and came directly to hunt for discount comics. “At the end of the year in the town hall there is always a Japanese culture festival. You've never been here, have you?” The event that Alfred mentioned is the closing event of each year held by the official city government. The foreign cultural introduction event includes various activities, including culinary specialties, cosplay competitions, comics bazaars and so on. “No, but I had heard about it." Debbie replied indi
