It occurs to me that this would be the only way I would ever be taller than him, this or I wear six inch heels. “Boxing??” Slowly his eyes break into a smile. “Yes. The one I’m currently working on has a boxer for a main character.” He nods slowly, eyes interested, making me want to spill about everything else. Monday after lunch of the second week, we got into comic books again when a junior girl was trying to make a Black Widow logo/belt buckle. Wendy, I, and most of the campers in the hut got into a spirited discussion of how it should look. It was fun in general, and particularly so because Wendy kept bending over the table to sketch her arguments out. When the period was over, I asked her enthusiastically, "So, do you like comic books in general or just Batman and Superman?"

Maybe this was the right time to loosen up a bit. My phone beeped on the small table in my room. I picked it and saw that it was a message from WWE saying they were having a training combat this evening. The training was meant to get us prepared for an entertainment match in New York next week. I changed into a pair of yellow sweatshirt that had a slit cut in the middle then pulled up in a baggy pajamas before combing my wig and padding out of the room.
