I do not doubt that as soon as the intercom leaves my hand, he will tear it to pieces right away.
“Hey boy, calm down.” I stroked his head with one hand and hid the intercom behind me.
He didn’t budge, his eyes locked on it, and his throat growled louder and louder. “It’s just a little intercom.” The words comfort didn’t work, so I changed my approach and put the intercom in front of him.
“Look!” I pinched the intercom and pressed it against his paw, rubbing it gently, getting his scent on it. From his previous reaction, he had a strong sense of territory, and getting his scent on it might make him feel like it belonged to him.
