Sophia's POV To be honest,about that guy Jacob... I'm kinda glad that he doesn't finds me attractive because of my size.I wasn't put on this earth to impress anybody but myself. I don't need a man to tell me if I look good or not or if I have a perfect body shape or not.I can do that all by myself! I know that I look good every day,my hair and my outfits be on point no matter where I go.I always smell extremely good,my attitude is savage,and I'm very loyal.So,I see nothing wrong with me and I don't see anything wrong about me.I swear,men like Jacob are nothing but a bunch of judgemental pigs who think they're too good to be with a girl that haves extra meat on her bones.

And yet, apparently not beautiful enough for the one man I want. Am I delusional? Should I alter something like my hair, my style, or my whole body just to perfect the picture? My eyes sweep over myself. I’m tall without being lanky, slim without looking starved. My skin is flawless; my hair falls in silky strawberry-blonde waves.

So yeah, cute, pretty, and in my mom’s case adorable but when I think about it, no one actually called me beautiful straight to my face. “And you never once thought of yourself as attractive?” Why are we on this topic? I don’t know but I’ll just continue. “Actually, I have a hard time finding what beauty is all about. I couldn’t tell the difference, really.” I shrug. “When I look at myself in the mirror, all I see is that I’m just Nina Caulfield and nothing else. When I look at the attractive people in here, I just base it on what the soap operas tell you to. Like Yu, for example.”

"No matter what else you say or do, I won't be attracted, you're still arguing in front of me or fighting. He pushed me, and I grumbled a little, so he got up. "Art, am I not gorgeous?" It states, "Look at yourself in the mirror then question yourself." The yes/no response is even more acceptable to me because, even if it's a little unclear, at least it's a little more sober than this! Karenina asked again. "Karenina, my dear sister. Since when have I cared about comparing myself to others? Especially to someone who is more beautiful or richer?" Ariana asked her twin sister casually. "I can't be more beautiful than anyone, even if I wanted to, because just like you, I was born with this face. And I have no intention of trying to beautify myself to look as stunning as a celebrity because I know I won't be able to undergo plastic surgery and change my appearance. And as for being rich, if you always compare yourself to people wealthier than you, you'll always feel poor, no matter what." Ariana replied with her sensible logic.

"Why do you think that?" She looked up at me "I travel a lot, and he's a celebrity. I've seen what the tabloids are saying about him. He takes pictures of beautiful tall models and my insecurity just can't. Unlike me with my freckled skin and red hair, they look flawless. I have freckles everywhere and I'm short. I'm not pretty enough." A tear rolled down her cheek. "Hey don't think that way.," I said, gently wiping away her tear. "Val is with you because he cares for you, not because of how you look. Remember, beauty is subjective, and what one person finds attractive may not be the same for someone else."

I'd be more forgiving of a controlling parent than that. I looked in the mirror and looked at myself right away. I'm supposed to be lovely, but not because I'm Omega. Why? Is it forbidden for Omegas to be beautiful or handsome? We don't have much except our beautiful faces, so why would they say we don't deserve to be called pretty or attractive? There is no such thing as an unattractive face in the world. Yes, an unpleasant attitude exists, but ugly faces? I grinned as I stroked my cheek. They won't tell us if an Omega is beautiful or our beauty is a waste of time. Who are they to make such a statement?

I could tell she was in dire need of validation. “That’s not it,” I replied as I heaved a sigh. “Then tell me the truth!” Annie exclaimed. “Beauty is not the only thing that makes a woman attractive…” I began. “There you go!” Annie exclaimed. “You are trying to make me feel better while you…” “Listen to me!” I interrupted her with a firm voice. “Apart from beauty, I believe charisma, good behavior, and sexiness are other factors. I was going to be honest as you said and give ratings on those four factors.”

Though her features weren't perfect, they complemented each other pleasingly. In comparison, I was surprised to find, "I'm actually quite good-looking." Feigning annoyance, Beata said, "Alpha Adelaide, don't say that out there. Being unaware of your own beauty is 'provocative' to others. I might just feel the urge to punch you!" I poked her forehead with my finger. "You're beautiful too. We all have two eyes, a nose, and a mouth."

Her appearance doesn't matter now, unlike the hundreds I've dated in my life. Not that her appearance is as horrible as she thinks it is. What really makes her so ugly is when she gets sucked in by self-confidence, convinced that she is hideous. But if she straightens her back, tilts her head, wears slightly more fashionable clothes and smiles, then she's not ugly at all. It may just be the opinion of a lovesick man, but to me it's absolutely true.
