“No. It’s nothing. I’m good now,” “Are you sure?” he sounded concerned now, his voice soft yet brimming with a strong wave of protectiveness. I wanted to tell him that he shouldn’t bother, but then my gaze travelled down his outfit. He was dressed like a musician—someone that had a lot to do with the media, but there was this air of nonchalance in his outfit, coupled with the hint of blings. He was handsome, his icy blonde hair complementing his marble grey eyes. A balanced jaw line in sharp contrast with his sensuous lips.

After a pause, he added, “Greta, I’d like to commission you to create Derek’s full club uniform. I know you’ll take excellent care of him… just as you do with me.” The men’s club uniform consisted of a navy blazer, tan or white slacks, and a light pink or white button-down long-sleeve shirt..required in the restaurant and for all evening events except the annual ball. “Thank you, Arthur,” Greta purred. “I was hoping I’d get to work with Derek.” She turned to me with a knowing smile. “Your father-in-law can give you my private number so we can schedule your appointment.” She gave Arthur a lingering smile and returned to her table.

The musicians had begun playing but I remained rooted to spot. “You’re alright,” My father assured, “You’re alright,” he repeated and I nodded, then took a step, followed by another, soon I was walking down the aisle to Cassian. His brown hair had been stylishly done to accentuate the sharpness of his features. He looked regal and absolutely dashing.

The room was light enough for me to see most of the people, but with my head bowed, it was difficult to make them out clearly. Everyone was in black. Half of the crowd seemed to have black robes similar to the one Tracey had on. They were flimsy and almost see through, but in the darkness I wasn't sure they were also naked underneath. There 'partners' wore traditional black formal attire and they all wore masks. I could not be certain that they were all men, but clearly most of them were. I was the only one in the room not in black. The room remained silent for some time.

There were other musicians within the parade as well, but it was the deep vibration of the bass drums that carried the reptilian line along. Most of them wore costumes, almost all in shades of red. It was difficult to see anyone’s full face. Either a half mask, paint, outlandish makeup, or an instrument hid most of their faces from view. The distinctive different between them and the normal uniform men was their long black coat and shades. When i saw their faces, i knew Jane was in a deep mess. I was in between smiling and pitying.

Jacob had a red silk shirt on with black pants and Ace had a white button up on. His was untucked with sleeves rolled. Kara was with them, wearing a satin blue dress that was a halter top and stopped mid thigh.

NIRVANA Knight Blackwell was only in a formal white shirt, sleeves rolled over his elbows, showing off those huge muscles and veins. He matched it with dark pants but clearly knew he could pull it off effortlessly. He was massive and taller up-closed, and he looked unbelievably attractive, not to mention his neat quiff cinnamon brown hair, full lips, straight nose, and the dark stubble covering his hard jawline made him look like he was ready to seal the billion-dollar deal for tonight.
