It was winter period when I first found my mate, she was beautiful and fair, had skin as white as snow, her hair was as flowy as velvet, and she had the voice of an angel. Perhaps, I was biased because she was mine, but it was the truth, one thing that kept me from pursuing her at first was that she was a witch. We werewolves and witches were not that close, we tend to get on each other’s nerves, so I knew my father would not approve, he was big on keeping to the rules.

"What have you heard about them?" She glances around, then leans in to whisper. "Rumors—not my words... People believe there was a magical spell cast over this academy, but it's wearing off due to some... magical imbalance, and Maddox is regaining his, but he refuses to accept they're his; he feels it's being manipulated, so he has decided to visit the stairs of the witch!" I freeze, pausing everything I'm doing. The classroom blurs out, giving way for a long-suppressed memory to resurface in my head.

Livia replied, their pace still marching in order. "Vampires and Demons? What about werewolves and witches?" Neah shot the question sharply, making Livia halt in her steps. From a distance, the guard followed them stealthily and Neah seemed to notice that. "Witches are in the academy and also werewolves but Lycans dominate there" Lucia replied " I know you must be wondering why witches and werewolves are there when it seems they're also enemies to us right?" Livia demanded and Neah nodded hastily.

She had gotten a hint at what direction the person or thing was standing so she stood facing the same direction while trying to see if she could see her or it clearly. "The audacity! “Can it bring me home?” “I’m not sure dear. It brought you here, but you’ll need to speak to a wizard.” “Wizards are a thing? I thought it was a witch’s amulet?” Corvu provides his answer with distaste, “Witches have been hunted almost to extinction. There aren’t any left, at least not ones anyone is aware of.” My head spun. For maybe the hundredth time today I feel my heart race. I try to breathe but my throat feels like ice. A voice echoes in my ears. “Hey? Girl?” My vision comes back into focus. Corvu is standing in front of my face holding my shoulders. Clearly, whatever this place is, personal space is not a common courtesy.

On top of the makeshift cake was a single, pink candle. One of the two students sitting by the table jumped up and held out a crimson balloon. “Happy belated birthday!” he exclaimed, his eyes on my mark. A smile cracked on his lips, and he peered up to me. “It isn’t much, but we hope you like it. Welcome to Academia of the Moon. You’re going to love it here.” It took me a moment to recuperate from surprise before accepting the balloon and offering a smile. “Uh, thank you?” I glanced at Ariah. “What’s going on?”

Speaking of which, his attention was immediately caught by the sight of a certain building he has always been intrigued by. "The Academia. Ugh, I miss those days sometimes," Zelda commented. "That reminds me, you attended classes there before right?" Eyes still on the road they passed through, Tristan asked. "I graduated just last year, haven't you heard? Ugh, but that's simply for formality. You know — my genius is like. . . innate," the girl proudly said. "Anyway, Thea's determined to enter, ain't she? She'd see me at my workshop every afternoon and morning, practicing incantations and watching my experiments."

Wilma didn't want to be tied to the Witches community without knowing much about them. "For beginner Witches, you can still learn spells because we do have a spellbook for Witches, but only up to middle-magic spells. For high-magic spells everything is stored in the Witches Coven." "I think I'll study before entering the Witches coven. I don't want to embarrass myself because I'm a complete novice as a Witches."
