Once a smile started to stretch his bearded face, I turned and started to catch up with Mikhail. He threw me a flashlight just as we boarded a vehicle. We drove into a tunnel that grew darker with each distance we covered. All around me, sweat slid down the faces of uniformed workers as they jammed their tools into the rocks, the steely sound of implements colliding with the hard surface filled the space along with the downpour of silt and rocks. Voices echoed around the wide cave. We bypassed men on ladders and a few more stooped on a pallet, relentlessly striking their pickaxes into the rocks.

Jo found it odd but didn’t have an explanation for it, unless it was because this was the queen’s part of the cave. The tunnel opened up into another large cavern, but this one did not appear to be bored through the rock. Rather, it appeared to be a natural cavern. Stalactites and stalagmites reached for one another, though she was never sure which was which. The cave was cast in a strange orangish light that seemed to be coming from the ground, though Jo didn’t see any lights. Vampires were tricky creatures, though. Who knew how they’d managed to make the room look illuminated without actually putting in a light fixture.

Inside the cave, there were guards of the Subterranean Devils Clan everywhere, the air was hot, and waves of fire were surging. "Is this the center of the volcano?" This place was heavily guarded. Chu Xun had no choice but to follow the patrol team. This cave was a complicated structure built in the rock mass. The ground was paved with slate bridges, and under the bridges was boiling hot lava.

Suddenly, his eyes caught a crowd with children, his brow furrowed as he approached them. A young child ran up to him, his hands pointing in the cave, "There is a monster, uncle!" Lake, he chuckled and patted the little one on the head. Indeed, he did not believe in things that are now crowded, completely distrustful. Then he hunkered down, "Go play, and forget about the monster." The little boy quickly led his friends away from the quiet, among the others. At first, Lake wanted to go but the steps stayed. He turned for a moment at the dark door and then walked toward it.

Within him, he knows this is the crystal cave he had set out for. He entered the cave surprised that it was not as dark as he expected. There were crystals all over the place, though it wasn't shining as before, but the dim light which the crystals brought was enough for him to see. There were also small creatures covering the crystal wall and they glowed with a bright light. He walked further inside the cave, his legs leading him to the final destination. He came to a dead end of the cave and saw a little sand, he bent down and know this was here he will plant the tiny crystals. At a glance, it was impossible to tell which direction it was. The place where the arm had stretched out had turned into a black mass of holes. It was so deep that no one could see the bottom of it. Anyone who looked at it would feel a chill in their heart. Caspian raised his hand and dug down. Splash! The hole, together with a radius of a thousand miles, was dug up from the ground.
