Closing the door I felted relaxed at the day's ends, going up the stairs to my room and I dropped onto my bed and I sighed " So glad today is over to today." laying there Alpha Kane came to mind rendering the look he gives me before leaving ." His Adam apple wobbled with a hard swallow, the air between us shifting. "I’m saying your presence would be... advantageous,” he replied, though his voice was strained, and the words lacked his usual confidence. “Advantageous?” I repeated, tilting my head as I let my finger linger bear his temple “That doesn’t sound very convincing.” His lips twitched, but his expression remained composed "It's not about needing, Isabella, it's about practicality. Your presence would be useful" I let out a soft laugh "Practicality?" I hummed. "So you're saying it has nothing to do with you not wanting to be alone?"

My sentences were clipped with desperation. She pushed a few buttons. "Not to worry. It appears you'll make it. You're still on the plane." She smiled up at me. “It must be your lucky day. You've been upgraded to first class, seat 3D.” She handed me back my phone. "Enjoy your flight." My lucky day. Hardly.
