Wolf Moon

Wolf Moon

I almost feel something like sympathy for Cook. Soon after, we gather around the table in the kitchen. Valerie serves up a stew fragrant with spices and thick with white fish and vegetables. I know it's not just me who's starving when Fulvio shoots me a can-you-believe-our-luck look. Just like a friend, I think and ignore Fer's lewd little mindlinked thoughts.

The Alpha's Cursed Mate

The Alpha's Cursed Mate

He might not be a good cook compared to Brie, Grandma, Loretta, and Sapphire, but he was a great cook compared to someone who burnt everything she tried to turn into food. Cooper's meals were wonderful. Just like Hendrix and Everett, he learned how to cook from the great chefs in the pack, though Hendrix was the best cook among the men, to me, Cooper was second to none. It was great to have a husband who could cook when all I knew how to do was burn things. Plus, men who can cook add extra spice to the menu.

Sapphire is bold, especially for someone who grew up in the kind of surrounding she was born in. However, I think she's a bit selfish. She's always quick to make decisions that she believed is best for everyone, unconsciously acting on what's best for her. She should learn to think on her own.

Heiress's Haunted Heart

Heiress's Haunted Heart

In the cozy, sunlit kitchen, the air was filled with the enticing aroma of spices. Ryan, donning an apron, stood in front of the stove, glancing at the recipe displayed on his laptop screen. Adrienne, also wearing an apron, stood beside him, her eyes gleaming with anticipation. "Alright, Adrienne, we've got all the ingredients - ribs, veggies, and cornbread. Are you ready to embark on this culinary adventure together?" Ryan grinned. "Absolutely! Cooking with you is the perfect way to spend an afternoon. You lead, and I'll follow," Adrienne blushed, her excitement evident.

Fondness of Miss Assistant!

At which Thomas gave a reply, “Don't worry Nella he isn't dead. Don't be so lost in his Fake Love" Noah turned up and said,“Excuse me but you are mistaken I am not her boyfriend or something it's just she is my assistant in the company and seeing her like I thought to help her out, nothing more." Thomas again laughed loudly and said, “Seriously? Just shut it up! Having a love affair secretly, and showing that we are just working partners in company! And you Nella, I didn't expect this from you at least just now your grandma has passed and you? Just chilling around freely. Shame on you!"

Twisted Mates.

"I'm Jodie. I cook, clean and say 'shit' a lot." "Ah, someone who speaks my language." She gestured at the dining table where croissants, toasted bread, bacon, scrambled eggs, baked beans, sausages, platters of cold meat, various fruits, and cereals were all laid out. "The wolf over there with the glasses and the beard who's the epitome of nerdy, that's my mate, Wyatt. The Chris Hemsworth lookalike is Lance, a fierce fighter and Dante's information man. Really enjoyed reading this. Don’t know why my comment at the end of the last chapter made it to the review with no stars? Anyway, need to fix the name swapping because it becomes confusing & frustrating & some sentances fixed. Apart from that I would read more books from this author.

This book made me fall in love with the werewolf genre as I am not a regular with it. The author mixed both worlds well and kept the sequence entertaining. Hopefully, this book gets the recognition that it deserves and someone to properly edit it. Outside that, the author is great!! Reading another.

Her Mates' Touch

Her Mates' Touch

's why Amata and I are so close, we know our whole truth." Cooper had set her now empty mug down and sank back into the chair. She listened to Madron talk about the adventures of the younger versions of himself and Amata, nodding occasionally for encouragement. It was a pleasant distraction for her mind, the normal, happy, silliness of youth. The rain continued to lightly drum against the glass, pattering almost rhythmically and soon Cooper dozed off. Cooper woke up a couple of hours later covered with an old quilt. Madron's chair was empty. Hunter and Charlotte were in the kitchen with bubbling pots and pans on the stove. They talked quietly over the accumulated pots and bowls that filled t

Fruits, breads, omelet, pancakes, jams, coffee, juice, a small vase with flowers. “Alexei Anatolievich Rurik…” Her voice came out more incredulous than severe. “Yes?” He raised an eyebrow, his expression innocent. “Did you rob the kitchen?” “No.” He made a dramatic pause, eyes sparkling. “The kitchen collaborated spontaneously. Marina practically demanded that I bring all this.” She laughed, the sound filling the room. “That explains a lot. Marina has always been your accomplice.” He closed the door with his foot and walked to the bed with the solemnity of a five-star restaurant waiter.

Monster Among the Roses

Monster Among the Roses

“What? Isn’t it obvious? They’re totally crazy about each other.” I pointed toward the opening of the library where Mrs. Pan had just dragged Lewis from the room by the ear. “We’re talking about the same two people, right? The cook and the groundskeeper.” She rolled her eyes. “Yes, I know exactly who we’re talking about.” Then she plunked a forkful of mashed potatoes into her mouth. I was too busy gaping at her to dig into my own food. “But they hate each other. They’re always at each other’s throats.”
