As long as she was unharmed, the methods didn't matter. There was little regard for the pain Alisa was enduring nor for the fact that she was grappling with her own emotional devastation. "Elara, Kieran has taken care of you wholeheartedly all these years. What right do you have to hit him!" As she spoke, she raised her hand, about to slap Elara in retaliation. We celebrate a few more minutes, and Tristan and I leave the room. A few more people stopped Tristan, so I told him I was going to the restroom. "Hurry up." He whispers.
