IN THE SILENT DARKNESS OF MY DESPAIR, I CONTEMPLATED THE SHATTERED FRAGMENTS OF WHAT ONCE WAS, AND I YEARNED FOR A WAY TO MEND THE IRREVOCABLE DAMAGE. Where Ashes and Oaths Collide

Where Ashes and Oaths Collide

Amelia said stubbornly. The stubbornness in her voice– the sheer refusal to be frightened– was Luz’s undoing. A raw laugh escaped him, half-laugh and half-sob, as he finally admitted defeat. “Fucking hell, you are impossible,” he muttered, pulling her flush against his bare chest. The contrast between her warm skin and his corrupted flesh sent another jolt through him. “Fine– have it your way. If you insist on throwing yourself into the pit with me.” His arms wrapped tightly around her waist, crushing her close as if trying to absorb her entirely. The crimson glow in his eyes softened into something almost pleading. “If I lose you,” he breathed against her red hair. “If this– this thing kill

Luna's Fall The Queen's Rise

Luna's Fall The Queen's Rise

The pain of losing Cora was still so raw, so overwhelming, that she couldn't imagine a future without her. As she cried, the sound of her own despair echoed through the quiet cemetery, a heartbreaking lament for the love she had lost. The wind rustled through the trees, whispering secrets only the dead could hear, and Seraphina felt like she was being torn apart by the weight of her sorrow.

Beneath the Winter Moon

Beneath the Winter Moon

"I'm still here… I just need more time..." The words were faint but clear, spoken with warmth and patience. Celeste lifted her head slowly, hope flickering to life in her heart. Yet beneath that small flicker of hope, a profound ache persisted. She still felt utterly alone, her spirit fractured and her heart raw from reliving the moments she'd spent so long trying to forget. Her mate’s betrayal, the bond she had cherished snapping violently in her chest, her heart shattered again and again with each painful memory.

Anything But Porcelain

Anything But Porcelain

“There’s a grief that can’t be spoken…there’s a pain goes on and on….empty chairs at empty tables…now my friends are dead and gone….here they talked of revolution…here is was they lit the flame…here they sang about tomorrow…and tomorrow never came….from the table in the corner…they could see a world reborn…and they rose with voices ringing…and I can hear them now…the very words that they have sung…became their last communion…on this lonely barricade…at dawn…” She gently dug her nails into her arms as she hugged herself and pictured Romero, Crystal, Dolan, and Jasmine around the table. She could clearly remember the night they died and the pain become worse. She thought of the baby that had b

This book is by far one of the best books I have read on here. Many laughs and many, many tears. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a strong female lead along with supernatural entities. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Wonderful book though there are gruesome and painful torturous moments but the main lead is a brave, strong, kind hearted, positive and loving lady. Her positive outlook and disposition is commendable. Plenty of twist, hope, love lovely moments then psin real painful to read.. Hope for more lovely b

The Mafia Professor’s Cruel Obsession

The Mafia Professor’s Cruel Obsession

Her teeth clattered. “Look at me and tell me it’s a lie. Look me in the eyes and fucking LIE TO ME!” “I DON’T LOVE YOU!” Rosa screamed. The words tore from her innocent heart. Her chest was rising with anxiety. Her vocal cords lowered in pain. “I don’t love you anymore.” She swallowed. “I regret meeting you. I WISH I NEVER MET YOU!” Her words floated into the air, poisoning it. The atmosphere twisted. Killian’s world stopped. His expression hollowed. The color bled from him. The thing he called a heart, fractured. He felt it crack sharply, irrevocably splitting in half and shattering. Slowly slowly.

TRAPPED POSSESSIVE ALPHA

TRAPPED POSSESSIVE ALPHA

Her heartbeat felt like a drum that was constantly beating, creating a tragic rhythm that accompanied her downward spiral. Tears spilled from Selena's eyes, leaving a trail of pain on her pale cheeks. Each of her cries seemed to be the lyrics of a song of endless sorrow. Her drooping body on the bed became a silent witness to the feelings of devastation and heartbreak she experienced. Selena felt her world spinning slowly in this weakened state as if time shared her pain. She felt lost, not only in the sense of losing something tangible but also a part of herself.

Accidental Surrogate for Alpha

Accidental Surrogate for Alpha

“It was my job and I failed him.” The liquor bottle dropped to the ground, just one more piece of debris in all the ruin, and Roger clamped his arms around Cora’s middle, squeezing her tightly as he bore his soul. Any threat or sensual intent was gone now, and Cora stroked and soothed him as he wept. There were tears in her own eyes too, in sympathy for his loss, but also for her own mistakes with her sister.

I love this book! I hate that chapters are barely two pages and at this rate I’m probably not going to see the end. For the cost at this rate I could have bought quite a number in physical form. As I have so far spent just under of $100 this is most likely my last Good Novel purchase.

Alpha Snatched Me From My Human Date

Alpha Snatched Me From My Human Date

Rosette's heart ached for the big man, who had endured a torrent of hardship and sorrow. By the time Rosette reached them, Roel was still kneeling, his head bowed, his shoulders shaking with suppressed sobs. Her gaze fell upon his face, etched with a mixture of despair and desperation, and a pang of sympathy shot through her. His eyes, normally filled with a spark of life, were now dull and lifeless, reflecting the depths of his anguish. When he finally turned towards Rosette, his voice choked with emotion, the sight of his brokenness shattered her own composure.
