As soon as Cordelia took the smartphone out of her pocket, Jenna started to hyperventilate and as her voice with which she was rather familiar started to pour out of the speaker, her complexion turned pale. She looked at Cordelia who seemed to have recorded her when she wasn’t paying attention to her and then felt a fire raging in her heart, she thought that this girl was a fool but unexpectedly——

Cordelia called out to her sister, "Selene, I need you. Please come now." Selene floated down in all her elegance. Cordelia huffed, "Do you always have to make such an entrance, you can pop in just like anyone else." Selene laughs, "Now sister quit taking all the fun out of it."

Helios uttered after tapping the female defender's shoulder lightly. Helios found it more strange when her body suddenly shakes, as if she was either crying or laughing. A few seconds after that, Cordelia raises her head and stares at him while flashing a wide smile on her face. "Am I being weird if I say that I'm completely thrilled and fired up right now, Helios?" She responded. Her voice was too loud for the rest of the defenders to hear her. "Are you being serious right now?" Jack asked her. Instead of answering him, she just stared at him still wearing that kind of creepy wide smile on her face. "Shall I do something?" She uttered while playing with her spear.

Disoriented, she sat up slowly, her hair a wild mess around her face, tangled with remnants of her dreams. Then the door creaked open softly. Cordelia floated into the room. She was dressed in shimmering black silk that sparkled like the night sky. Her brown streaked hair was neatly pinned up, showing off her poise. Chloe recognized her from previous encounters, always the poised figure who seemed perfectly attuned to Valerius's every desire. Was she merely an assistant, servant, or something else entirely? “Good evening,” Cordelia said, her voice smooth and cool. “You’re awake.”

After a good look, it was obvious we couldn’t sit still long enough for the picture to be taken. Cordelia placed the picture of Mom inside the ring of candles, closed her eyes, and took a deep breath. When she opened her eyes, they were clear and serene. Her voice was strong, but there was something haunting about the way it echoed, and how that whispered voice sounded different than Cordelia’s. Each word spoken charged the air with what felt like electricity, until my skin was flushed and the hairs along my arms raised. “Spirits from the other side… …hear my words, hear my cry…

She added dismissively. "Alright, Ms." Cordelia bowed her head slightly towards Riley before she packed up her make-up box and exited the room. Although she's a highly skilled make-up artist, Cordelia has long worked for the Pipers as Riley's personal make-up artist and as such, she's naturally familiar with Riley's unusual or impromptu demands. It was no surprise to her when the young Ms had requested she gave her a gloomy-like make over, such that would easily portray how well she was grieving over her grandfather's death.

She jokes and I sense her anxiety but decided not to let her know and just smile at her. “With the power and faith entrusted to me, I present you, Pandora.” Selene announces raising her hands to the night sky and everyone cheers. The dome that raised when the ritual began was coming down in little snowflakes of light. I was amazed at everything around me. It was like I had another way to see life.

But tonight, under the lights, her skin looked fair and luminous. Her collarbones were delicately defined, and her waist was so slim she hardly looked like someone who had given birth. A flicker of displeasure crossed Felix’s eyes. His brows drew together slightly, and his hand clenched without him realizing it. "Cordelia, dressing like that for this kind of occasion is a little inappropriate," he said, his voice lower than usual, as if he were holding something back. Cordelia looked up at him. A sudden wave of bitterness surged in her chest, but she did not let it show on her face.
