The costume landed at Aria’s feet with a heavy, dusty thud. "Put it on," Cassandra commanded. "And don't complain. It’s vintage." Aria looked down at the pile of fabric on the floor of the penthouse guest room. It wasn't a ballgown. It wasn't silk or satin or lace. It was a heavy, shapeless cloak made of gray velvet that looked like it had been cut from a theater curtain in the 19th century. Beside it lay a mask—a plain, featureless white porcelain half-mask that covered the eyes and nose, devoid of glitter, feathers, or expression.

Dressed as a fairy and toy soldier respectively, Lily and Aaron barely pulled their gaze from their movie to acknowledge his entrance. He might not have shown it to Cassie but he was very excited to be going trick-or-treating. He had gone above and beyond to get a costume. He wore a long rich coat made of rich velvet with an intricate gold embroidery running down the front and at the edge of the sleeves. Underneath the coat, he wore a white blouse with more ruffles than he wished for on the collar and cuffs. “That baby blue gown would turn heads tonight.” I smile at her. Yes, I want to make an impression while I’m here, for sure. An hour later, I’m wearing my baby blue gown. It’s sleeveless with a v-neck collar. Caleb wears one of his more formal black tunics – one with gold weaved through the fabric. Tassels on the sleeves indicate him as a person of great importance. Even if someone didn’t know he was Alpha King, they would know to treat him with respect. Taking him in, Gods, he is handsome.

And the wolves. She took a deep breath, the cold air filling her lungs. Then she stood. She pulled on her costume—a sleek, charcoal-gray tactical suit, high-collared, reinforced at the shoulders, designed for the next sequence: Naomi Reyes infiltrates the enemy compound. She zipped it up, fastened her boots, and pulled her hair back into a tight, practical knot. She looked like a soldier. Because that’s what she was. Not a victim. Not a scandal. A warrior.

Emily's POV “I don't think that makes sense to me.” Tammy quipped. “That's why it's MASKED! You can wear whatever and be comfortable in it. I literally made so much research, so much detail that went into this dress. I wanted you to stand out!” Her voice was already breaking, so Freda put a hand on her shoulder and patted her back.

The only ones not yet ready were Skyller and Christian. " Wow, Rose, are you determined to kill someone from the heart today? " Liam sneered. " I hope I find someone worth it," I crooned. My costume consisted of a white tulle bodice encrusted with various sparkly pebbles and a tulle tutu skirt that didn't even reach halfway up my thighs. In the back I wore a pair of white wings and a halo on my head.

I applied my make up with the thought of softening my prominent features to better disguise myself and completed the look with a deep red lipstick. I stepped out and Emerson whistled. Tally quickly slapped his arm as if offended. Was she jealous? Is there something going on with those two? Tally went with a Harley Quinn costume, which honestly suits her personality well. Emerson thought he was being funny by dressing up like a vampire. Percy was dressed like a Mafia guy with a pinstripe black suit. He even had a matching hat. Then there's Kellan who of course decided to dress like prince charming. "Let's go." I told them all. It was now dark outside and time to get things rolling.

She’d have to search it on the internet and try to work it out. “F-king Triquetra,” she muttered under her breath as she realized that she couldn’t wear any of her corsets or bras as they’d rub against the tattoos. “F-king f-k f-kers,” she muttered as she pulled on a camisole and then tore open the costume packaging, shaking out the velvet dress. “Alright, that’s sort of cute,” she held it up against herself.

She wears a short white prom dress to compliment her wings, I hate to admit it but it's sexy and definitely not a try hard costume. I quickly shift my gaze to the other side of the room, my eyes find my Talitha. Yes, Talitha, there is no sign of Tiana in her eyes today. Perhaps it's the Harley Quinn costume sponsoring her carefree-about-to-fucking-release-my-demons face but still, she looks trigger happy.

“And let me remind all of you of something.” She pointed at my outfit. “The outfit she’s wearing, as simple as it looks, is probably worth more than all of your clothes right now, combined! I look down at it like I am floating. “What?” I ask silently while trying to focus and keep myself composed, not acting as if I’m on fire and changing my clothes in an instant.
