Novel & Cerita Coughing Up Blood After Running

I feel my ribs bust and a growl of pain vibrates hugely from my throat as I cough out blood. I fight the blackness creeping into my vision but that's nearly impossible as gravity takes effect, slamming my eyes close. . . TBC.

A harsh cough tore out of him, deep and violent, shaking his entire frame. Then blood spilled from his mouth. It splattered onto the sheets in thick, alarming streaks. “Mr. Mills!” Marcel shouted, rushing forward instantly. Nathan doubled over, his coughing worsening, each spasm more violent than the last. Blood stained his lips, trailing down his chin as his hands gripped the sheets desperately, his knuckles turning white. His chest heaved as he struggled to breathe, each inhale shallow and painful. “Nurse!” Marcel roared toward the door, his voice filled with urgency. “Somebody help! He’s coughing blood!”

I put my hearing on alert so that at the slightest noise I can attack or escape first. I continue to follow the corridor until I come to a fork in the road. “Fuck! It’s now where do I go?” I try to stay calm even though it’s impossible until I hear voices to my right. I start running in the opposite direction, but at some point, I have to stop because of a cough, which makes me spit blood. I guess this is not a good sign...my usual luck. “Do you smell that too?” Shit! “Blood... wolf blood.”

I had to get to my father. That thought alone drove me as I charged through brush and past the stinging branches of the trees. Yet, before long, I felt my energy drained from me, and as much as I wanted to keep running, my chest hurt. I couldn’t breathe. Having no other choice, I slowed, gulping in air, my breath wheezing. Suddenly, a coughing fit forced me to stop. My upper side hurt. Pain flared through me as I laid my hand on the area. Shit, that couldn’t be good. Getting my coughing under control, I stood up. A hand wrapped around my neck and jerked me back.

Her expression went grim, her eyes darkened as she felt a metallic taste in her mouth as well as a thick liquid running down her nose. Her hand reaches to her nose to swipe the thick liquid, it was red, it was blood. Autumn’s throat hitched, it felt dry and raspy. She cleared her throat, emitting a loud, hacking hoarse that was congested with blood. Evette was in full panic mode, Lucas was waking up from his mother’s cough and Autumn was just choking on her own blood, either was she runs out the room, to the corridor just in time to meet a nurse. “The patient, the patient is coughing blood.” Evette cried as she followed the nurse back in to meet Autumn gasping for air amidst the coughs. I ran back upstairs. He was still coughing when I entered. I knelt beside him. “Drink.” He took a small sip. Then another. The coughing slowed and his breathing steadied.
