Jacob asked. “I feel…” The patient wiped his mouth. When he was about to say something, he suddenly felt that his stomach was churning badly. He coughed more severely while touching his stomach. At that moment, the doctors below all stood up. “How could this happen?” Jacob kept slapping the patient’s back lightly, hoping that he could be better. It was useless. The patient coughed more severely. He kept coughing and even started coughing up blood. Jacob panicked. The patient’s cough was already severe in the beginning. A harsh cough tore out of him, deep and violent, shaking his entire frame. Then blood spilled from his mouth. I put my hearing on alert so that at the slightest noise I can attack or escape first. I continue to follow the corridor until I come to a fork in the road. “Fuck! It’s now where do I go?” I try to stay calm even though it’s impossible until I hear voices to my right. I start running in the opposite direction, but at some point, I have to stop because of a cough, which makes me spit blood. I guess this is not a good sign...my usual luck. “Do you smell that too?” Shit! “Blood... wolf blood.”

I had to get to my father. That thought alone drove me as I charged through brush and past the stinging branches of the trees.
