I could only nod my head. I laid back on the bed, still feeling exhausted and then I had to run. I barely made it to the toilet as I started vomiting blood. It changed from dark red to black as I kept vomiting. I felt Adara behind me as she placed a cold face cloth on the back of my neck and sat with me until it stopped.

He rushes back to the sink and lets out a violent cough and blood splatters on the white sink. He can never escape, can he?

The taste of copper flooded my mouth. When I pulled my hand away, it was bright red with blood. Not just traces—actual blood, thick and arterial, splattered across my palm and dripping between my fingers. "Kyle!" Thomas's voice seemed to come from very far away. Another coughing fit seized me, more violent than the first. Blood sprayed across the white hospital gown, across the pristine sheets, across the bedside table where my coffee cup sat forgotten. I doubled over with the force of it, my body convulsing as my lungs tried to expel something that wasn't supposed to be there.

He opened his eyes and quickly got outta the water and sat down on the edge while clenching his chest area in discomfort. He didn't know what was happening to him as it felt like his heart was being squeezed tightly.. It didn't take long before he began coughing violently. He kept tapping his chest but he was suddenly bleeding through the nose profusely.. He wiped his nose when he felt something trickling down his nose and was surprised to see blood.. He was also coughing blood and this was extremely uncomfortable as his gaze suddenly felt blurry.. Kept trying to stop the bleeding from his nose and after a few minutes of discomfort,he suddenly stopped and the pain in his chest was also gone.

If anything, the throbbing in my head felt sharper. I pushed myself out of bed and dragged my feet to the bathroom, hoping cold water on my face would help. But halfway through, a cough hit me so hard I had to grip the sink. One cough. Two. Three—until I tasted metal. When I looked down, there it was. Blood.

My back flares with pain every time my foot hits the ground but I'm not stopping until my anger is gone. When I finally stop running, my anger evaporated through the sweat lining my head, I'm at the mouth of a cave. It begins to drizzle as I come to a stop. My clothes are soaked through, sticking horribly to the skin on my legs and torso. My breaths come in and out painfully like a stab of a knife in my chest. The tears finally stopped after about half an hour of running.

His face had turned as red as a tomato, and the veins on his neck were protruding out so evidently. "I told you, give me the key, I want to l-" Carl gasped and began to clutch his stomach. He coughed and held his mouth as it got worse. Worry gripped me like a vice and I placed my hand on his shoulder. He bent down to the ground as the coughing got worse. "Carl? What's wrong?" I asked as urgency gripped me. He took his hand away from his mouth, and my heart dropped to the bottom of my chest when i saw blood all over it.

Even my throat feels itchy as a gigantic lump made itself at comfy there. I start coughing that my knees tremble as they give out underneath me, and my hands are facing the plastic floor when I feel my knees on the floor. I cough till I cough up blood. "Kate, slow the fuck down!" Max is already at my side. How he rushed up to me, I can't tell. But he pulls me up and carries me in his arms.

I used the wall as a support as I slid up, and then the pain in my back increased and I couldn't stop the coldness that attacked me. My throat felt dry suddenly and I could taste something familiar but almost forgotten in my mouth, then the cough attacked me and when I opened my mouth, what came out was blood, now I knew how serious this was. Seems I had done too much, especially my throat which I am still hoping will heal.
