Revenge Of The Heir

Revenge Of The Heir

Stacey replied in a confident tone as she elegantly pulled her dark hair back. Courtney just flashed a smile at her friend, as she said. "Well, it's a good thing that you're moving on… just don't put the guy through hell, just like you treated Arthur." Courtney advised with a smile. She believed no one could endure what Arthur had endured.

It's Meant To Be

It's Meant To Be

Courtney was wearing a gorgeous dress, her hair was pinned up, and the jewelry on her body was sparkling. She was raised in a pampered manner since childhood, exuding an air of superiority that was carefully nurtured by wealth and skincare products. Seeing that she had put on an exquisite makeup, Lauryn smiled and said, "Courtney looks really beautiful." "Our precious treasure that we held in the palm of our hands for over a decade, how could it not be beautiful!" Kevin was all smiles, "Let Braydon take you there." "No need, let Enrique deliver today." Courtney smiled and said, "This is how my best friend will feel that I value her!"

Claim Me, Daddies : A Spicy Erotica Collection

"Sure thing, Courtney. What's up?" "Um, it's kind of..." Courtney said. Courtney sat stiff-backed across from me, like she was trying to keep more than her posture under control. Yet there was a vulnerability in her that I couldn't quite place. Her raven-black hair was pulled tight, her skin was smooth and even, and her slight frame fit neatly into tidy clothes that smelled faintly of detergent and fabric softener. "Hey, just let it out," I said, leaning in. "Well, Kellie has been..." she trailed off. "Well, kind of fucking up lately..."

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

That made it better. God. Not worse. Fair. Several more photographs followed. Reasonable. Some serious. God. Some silly. Fair. Most silly. Reasonable honestly. Then eventually they captured one. God. The one. Fair. Everybody smiling. Reasonable. Peanut looking toward Lily. God. Lily looking toward Peanut. Fair. Adrian and Elena looking happier than words could explain. Reasonable. Perfect. God. Not because everyone posed correctly. Fair. Not because everyone looked flawless.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Chosen Mates, Stolen Fates

Chosen Mates, Stolen Fates

Perrin “Hey there, beautiful!” She was wearing sunglasses, outside in some sunny courtyard. Then sun was setting though, and her skin practically glowed in the dusk of early evening. “Hey handsome,” she said, her smile wide and genuine. My heart practically leapt at the sight of her. “How was your day?”

When the Queen Returned, They Panicked

When the Queen Returned, They Panicked

“You heard that, too?” He snorted. “Heard enough.” I shook my head, amused, and a small smile crept on my lips. “Listen, baby, just let it go, okay? Just this once. Miss Courtney is a very important person, and we don’t need to make a big deal about this.” “Carter, this is a big deal! She’s a monster–” Carter sighed loudly. “Yolanda, just stop, alright? Miss Courtney is an honorable person. This must be all a misunderstanding–”

He Hurt Me, Now He Wants Me Back

He Hurt Me, Now He Wants Me Back

Elinor is smiling awkwardly at the camera. She’s gorgeous as ever in white shirt and jeans. Her hair is in a messy bun too but she’s smiling big. She hardly smiles but whenever she does, it’s genuine. I have always thought her smile is probably the closest thing to heaven’s bell on earth. But this time, I can tell it’s forced. Something has to be wrong. Panic surges through me for a second. I click on the monitor and it gives a long beep before the door finally opens. I step away from the door, dragging my feet back into the living room.

No one is perfect of course but why isn’t it the other way round?? From what I have read it looks like he repeated exactly what was done to his mother and he followed in his father’s footsteps so make me understand

If you’re looking for a second chance romance with good pace, then this book is for you.The problems doesn’t drag on at all and each scene drives the plot forward. I like how the writer doesn’t exploit drama from the characters…Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Looking forward to more updates

Scarlett: The Crimson Bride

Scarlett: The Crimson Bride

Shawn quirked a brow before hearing the clicking of heels behind him. The cheerleader plopped next to him with an intentional flick of her long black ponytail, dark blue eyes, and a forced smirk. "Hey. I'm Kayley!" "Shawn," he replied with a thin grin, Kayley grinned even wider. "So me and my gal pals thought to ourselves and we were like; 'oh my god, you look soo cute.' And cute guys have an all-access pass to sit with the Queenz. And not to be annoyed by this—drenched out, ginger ale broad." She said with a bouncy high voice, but hiding a venomous tongue, like all cheerleaders.

My Boyfriend Is A Fictional Character

My Boyfriend Is A Fictional Character

Patty asked while sipping her bread on her latte. "Not so sure, I still felt nervous." I answered. "I am as well but for the sake of our grades, shove that nervousness away." She's right. I pinched some bread and throw it to Sheena. Sheena is a quite dog but sometimes she's loud but maybe she was hungry or thirsty. I opened my phone and went into youtube to watch the summarized version of Peterpan. ### So they'll gonna play Sleeping Beauty. "Cassandra is so beautiful." "I wish I could be like her."

Courtney Peppernell's 'Perhaps It’s Just Easier to Smile' is a collection of poetry and prose that feels like a warm hug on a tough day. It’s divided into four sections, each exploring different facets of love, loss, healing, and self-discovery. The writing is achingly honest—Peppernell doesn’t shy away from the messy parts of life, like heartbreak or anxiety, but she balances it with gentle hope. I love how she captures tiny moments—like the way sunlight hits a room or the quiet comfort of a familiar voice—and turns them into something profound. Her style is minimalist but packed with emotion, making it easy to see yourself in her words. It’s the kind of book you dog-ear pages of and revisit when you need a reminder that you’re not alone.

What stands out to me is how she threads resilience throughout the pieces. Even in the sections about pain, there’s this quiet determination to keep going, to find beauty in the cracks. It’s not overly optimistic, just real. If you’ve ever felt stuck between pretending you’re fine and admitting you’re not, this book gets it. I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys Rupi Kaur or Lang Leav but craves a slightly softer, more introspective tone.
