Wally and Josh were nowhere to be found when we returned from our ride. Cindy acted undisturbed by their absence. She spent the time waiting for her cousin grooming the horses and helping me clean out stalls. It was refreshing to see how much she enjoyed the actual labor involved in tending to the animals. I was beginning to think that I was an odd soul since I actually found mucking out stalls and dragging bales of hay about the stable both pleasurable and rewarding.

They saluted Jack smartly and he saluted back as they opened the door for him, ‘Sir would you like us to put the dog in the cage?’ One of them asked politely and Jack grinned back at him, ‘Would you like to try Officer?’ He went to grab my collar and I growled deeply letting it rumble through my chest as my ears went back and I bared my teeth and he backed away instantly, ‘That’s okay Sir he can ride with you’ They both jumped warily into the front not at all sure about having a Wolf sit behind them but I was given the opportunity to change their minds very quickly. The air raid siren went off just as they started the engine and the American soldiers shouted

Proved that darkness was not a threat but a protection. Twilight worked with young wolves. Taught them that shadows were natural. That darkness was part of life. That nothing to fear existed in the night. Echo helped wolves who grieved. Who felt empty. Who struggled with loss. Taught them that emptiness could resonate. Could reflect. I also want to thank most of my readers for their friendly comments. They kept me going. However, I will start book two right away, and I know you are all excited to know what happens next in the story. Before you read book two, there are a few things I would like you to note. Writers are humans, and your comments or anything you do to their work affect them either positively or negatively. As much as criticism is accepted, no one would like their works to be demeaned so much.

He loved coming to the casino, not to gamble, the supply of liquor, always managed to put a smile on his face. Wolves who had an issue with shifting or who haven’t found their mate, tended to drink. Sex wasn’t good enough for them because the only women they could fuck were humans, and their holes were too small to accommodate our fat cocks. Frustrated to the point of madness was not an understatement. No, we needed mates. For some reason their holes were bigger and could satisfy us completely. Yet, Winter never had this issue. In some ways he was the perfect one out of us three.

“I just had to sneak out because it’s a full moon and I didn’t want anybody to know that I didn’t have a wolf.” “Ohhh.” She muttered under her breath. “But you told me you found your true mate, right?” I nodded. “Yes.” “So he didn’t figure out that you were wolfless? How did your wolves sense each other?” She asked, lowering her voice. I blinked at her question, my throat suddenly dry. “I don’t…. I don’t know.” I replied, confusion creeping into my tone. “I just felt it. I don’t know how. But I know that he's my true mate. One can’t deny the connection.”

Yet here they are, running amok and causing havoc in his heart. “This strange curse plaguing the land of the werewolves is familiar. I’m sure I’ve read it somewhere. Can you confirm it for me, dear?” “Of course, mother.” He heard her approaching footsteps. “What curse is it—” They stopped. Something fell on the floor a few steps away from him, a book. Her book. Right beside the book was the pair of feet, rooted to the ground. “Phaedra? What is the matter, dear? Do you know each other?” Her mother asks, but neither of the two were paying attention.

Fortunately, with the melding of my twin wolves my size all but doubled and he suddenly realized that he was no match for this wolf. My wolf manages to raise up to a standing position while grabbing “Ethan’s” fur with a firm grip. Taking a running start backwards and smashing his entire body against the book shelf located across the room hearing a loud snapping of bones upon impact. My wolf lets go and turns around just in time to see “Ethan” fall to the floor. Then suddenly my office door comes flying open as several wolves run into the room including Jessie and Beta Femme Jacobs. They had heard the commotion in my office out in the hall.

I smiled at it and was about to whisper to it when I heard the ground crunch indicating the men on the other side were moving. My breath froze as I waited for them to discover me. However, the steps moved in the opposite direction followed by the sounds of them moving things around in the back of the wagon. I peeked towards them cautiously and saw the handler showing off his wares. Bolts after bolts of colorful cloth and tons of bottles that held several different kinds of liquids practically overflowed from the back of the carts. In their distraction, I scratched the creature between the ears like the handler had to calm him, and his eyes immediately rolled back in satisfaction at the atten
