Cracked Porcelain Doll Novels & Stories

Although Hisashi repeatedly explained that this name represents only one thing: the truth, and the price of products in their store to be worthy of its quality. Contrary to the colorful appearance of the first floor, this second floor looks much more like a real magic shop. Huge wooden cabinets contained rows of dried llamas fetuses of reddish-brown color, dolls made from all kinds of materials such as wood, cloth, straw, stone-carved evil spirits, animal fur skins, skulls of all kinds. Eden always felt creepy when he went through that place. He had a feeling that the dark, empty eye sockets of these skulls were staring at him).

A lush garden filled with vibrant flowers and towering trees. In the centre lies a small, serene grave adorned with a single peony. Rhys with a weathered face and gentle eyes, slowly approached, his steps heavy with the weight of memories. Raindrops fell softly, casting a melancholic veil over the scene. He smiled down at the grave and replaced the weathered Peony with a new one. “Another day, my doll.” With trembling hands, he delicately placed a fresh peony on the grave, its petals glistening with raindrops. He knelt beside it, his movements slow and deliberate. Sitting beside the grave, he gazed at it with a mixture of longing and acceptance.

A cold chill tousled through the hairs on the back of my neck and filtered down my spine, prompting me to spin around and make it back towards the front of the door when my eyes were drawn into something I had not really noticed previously. A dazzling porcelain doll sat competently on a rocking chair, facing my direction. She initially appeared to be expensive and visually striking, as if she has a million bolts of charm and glamour lurking beneath her smile. Her ocean-blue eyes have depths of innocence in them, and it seemed as though an inevitable gravity was dragging me in to explore those vast sets of orbs.

Among the broken pieces and toppled figurines, two dolls stood upright, untouched, staring at me with their glassy, painted eyes. My breath hitched as I took a step closer, unable to tear my gaze away. It felt like my lungs had seized up, the room suddenly too small, too suffocating. I recognized them instantly. The first doll wore a bright red jacket, a tiny top hat perched at a jaunty angle on its head. In its small porcelain hand, it held a miniature whip—clearly a lion tamer. The second doll was equally striking, dressed in a striped leotard with exaggerated muscles stitched into its arms, like a cartoonish depiction of a circus strongwoman.

“He hung me up, I think. My throat’s been weird this whole morning. I thought I was coming down with something, but it felt kind of suffocating? So I think the doll probably got hung from something.” “Like those sunny dolls? What kind of kink is that?” I frowned and softly touched the doll’s neck. There was a sewing crease there, so it made sense for wrinkles to appear around that area. I could imagine the doll being tied up and hanging like a sunny doll. The more I looked, the more the sight of the crease began to irritate me. It almost looked like someone had wrapped a rope around its neck. I wanted nothing more than to smooth it out.

’ Thea says as she hugs her best-friend. ‘Okay, I do not mean to disrupt your moment but time is running out and we really need to get this to Halley.’ Edmond says as he shows them a pendant that looks the same as the one on Jessa’s neck. ‘Oh you already made the pendant? I thought we would go for gold and wear all those work overalls and melt things but I guess this way too is cool.’ Thea says. ‘Oh I wish we could do that but we do not have enough time plus, you do not have to worry about getting things like these done when a demon is around.’ Edmond says proudly.

He could make her legs tremble in just a few minutes. "Then why did you buy this thing?" He put the diary back in the drawer, took out the manual for the doll, and touched the doll's arm. The doll was made up of silica gel, and it felt realistic, but it still couldn't replicate a real-life human being. It was not as comfortable as Sigrid, nor was it as pretty as Sigrid. George was a little disgusted. "It's like a corpse. Do you think I would indulge in this kind of thing?"

Fortunately for him, Frank kept things short and pointed at a small crack at the vase pedestal, asking quietly, "Since you call yourself an appraiser, why don't you look closely at this crack?" "Hmph!" Tet chuckled coldly. "I've seen it. It's absolutely common for a vase as old as this one to have cracks." "True." Frank nodded but soon added, "But if you look at it with a magnifying glass, you will notice a little inconsistency within that half-millimeter crack. It's clearly a counterfeit, forged with grafting!" "What?!" Tet sprang to his feet at Frank's words, staring at Frank in disbelief. Frank's tone was confident and showed no hints of indecision.

It was as if my whole world just flashed before my eyes. Now everything I had, is lost. "ROSE?" Roderigo called out with fear, surprised. "Rose," Jade with a smirk. "Traitors!!!" I sobbed.

And when she saw the doll lying inside, she could not help but be stunned. Most of the doll’s body was made of ceramics, which looked beautiful, and it was also a fully automatic doll. When moving, it would grab a flute in one hand and whistle, while the other hand would hold a chirping bird. She was surprised because this doll was a unique creation, and the person who had designed and created it named it the “Bird Tamer”. It was priced at 6.25 million, and it was the only one in the world. Daisie glanced at him. “Colton, are you spending Dad’s money again?”
