The blow smashes the side of my head and it brings a rain of red stars to my vision. I hit the wall like a rag doll and collapse to the floor. Wow, so much for being the Alpha of the North. My feet dangled several feet above the ground. “Shit,” I cursed under my breath, panic clawing at my chest. Going back wasn’t an option. Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath and let go. My harness cut into my chest as I crashed forward against the instrument panel, and the taste of blood filled my mouth.

The whistle of something falling caught our attention, and sure enough, falling from the sky like a burning missile was Nixon and the woman, very naked, and very joined together as they crashed. “Not... fucking... again,” Alice grumbled, grabbing onto my hand as we made our way to the crater they made with their landing.
