The Demon Contract

The Demon Contract

A steady, heart stopping beat of slow heavy footsteps sounded loud in the still quiet of the room as the warlocks stopped chanting and became like tranced zombies, staring unseeing at the circle. Ruben and Kat watched as a large arm came up out of the hole holding a massive axe. Followed by the face of a great horned demon, his skin a strange bluish grey colour. As it climbed the stairs with deliberate slowness, avoiding the blue flames, it came to stand before them as the floor was suddenly back up and the demon stepped back away from the flames to the centre of the circle. Kat looked at it with distaste. “That’s not Lord Basille.”

My Hatred, My Soulmate

My Hatred, My Soulmate

Chapter 200: The Point of No Return DAMON'S POV Okay, she is crazy. Really, really crazy. Like, extremely, utterly, completely insane beyond any reasonable measure of madness I've ever witnessed in my supernatural existence. What the fuck is she thinking? What is she attempting to accomplish with this twisted display of power and cruelty? My mind races through a thousand possibilities, each one more horrifying than the last.

Married to a Demon

Married to a Demon

He paced back and forth in the room trying to calm his nerves down, but his demon was being rebellious again. I thought we made peace, he told his demon as if his demon was someone other than himself. His demon was only a name for his dark side, the evil inside of him, the anger, the wickedness, the frustration and of course the l.u.s.t and hunger. The will to manipulate and to seduce was usually what his demon enjoyed the most and usually that side of him, his demon was stronger than his good side. "Lucian." Hazel's voice interrupted his fight with his demon but as he turned around and laid eyes on her he knew there was no going back.

THE PRICE FOR HIS NAME

THE PRICE FOR HIS NAME

Samuel chuckled weakly, his laughter laced with a sharp wheeze. “You didn’t stop him either.” “I did,” Fiero said. “When I heard a bone break.” Samuel didn’t argue. Didn’t care. He swayed, half-conscious, his head resting back against the sand as Fiero knelt beside him. Then, slowly, Samuel’s lips parted again. “You know…” he began, voice dry as rust, “everyone keeps calling me the crazy one. A demon. The problem.” Fiero didn’t respond. Samuel tilted his head just enough to catch a glimpse of him in the dark. The moonlight carved his grin into something almost too wide, something that didn’t look entirely human.

Journey To Become The Strongest god

Journey To Become The Strongest god

Some demons realized that the demon in front of them, who was as big as an elephant, was crazier than other demons. It wasn't because of his large body or his strength, but because of his madness in facing his enemies or even his own friends. While other demons would retreat or run away with their friends, this demon would use any means necessary to survive, even if it meant eating his friends to become stronger. That's why many demons disliked him, and when the demon world was not yet at war with the underworld, they locked this demon in a cold prison. But now that demon has returned, making them uneasy, only they are powerless because he is a first-level emperor who can destroy the formati

OWNED BY THE DEMON KING

OWNED BY THE DEMON KING

I had to move fast. I turned through the pages of the spell book with shaky hands until I finally settled on what I was searching for. “Thrakos, Demon of the Underworld, Lord of Hell,” I whispered, my fingers tracing the forbidden verse. “He who commands the forbidden flames of the devil's domain,” my voice grew louder, desperation etched in my eyes, "I call thee, Thrakos. I summon thee to the mortal realm. Kneel before–” The sound of thunder cracking cut me short before I could complete my words. The ground began to rumble and the circle I had engraved on the ground expanded outwards as dark smoke clouded the entire place.

Driven Crazy by Regret After Getting Revenge

Driven Crazy by Regret After Getting Revenge

"I will pay you the money! If you lay a hand on my mom, I'll fight every last one of you!" "Fight us? You think you're capable?" The scar-faced man sneered as he closed in. "Well, your mother is still quite the beauty. How about this? We'll forget about the remaining $150,000 if she spends one night with us instead. How's that?" I trembled all over, and my stomach churned. I spat at him. "In your dreams!" The scar-faced man, enraged, was about to bring the steel pipe down on my head when several black cars screeched onto the scene, slamming to a halt right in front of us.

The Demon Queen's Desire

The Demon Queen's Desire

“They’re part shapeshifter. Probably are trying to scent him. Oh, Rena. He’s perfect. And he wants me so bad. I can feel him craving me. He was terribly sad when he first saw me, though. What could make such a gorgeous man so melancholy?” “I bet those things are the only thing he can pick up normally. They probably chase off anyone else. A guy I talked to at the bar said Ford’s packing serious weight. You think you can handle it for your first?” Serena asked. Now the comments made more sense. I wasn’t worried. A demon could manage pretty much anything. We fed on sexual energy and desire, we were well equipped to handle men who were well equipped. I snorted. “Have you ever met a girl like us

Frequently Asked Questions

It's the fear they don't feel, I think. In your average ghost or werewolf story, the protagonist is terrified, scrambling to survive. But when the main character is the monster, that anxiety gets flipped. The tension isn't about running away; it's about the moment they decide not to hold back. You're in their head as they weigh the cost of unleashing chaos, and that moral calculus, or lack of it, is hypnotic. They operate on a logic that's alien yet strangely consistent, and seeing the world through that distorted lens makes the familiar terrifying again.

Take 'Hannibal' Lecter. The horror isn't just what he does, but the elegant, cultured frame he puts it in. That contrast is everything. A demon protagonist who revels in carnage is one thing, but one who philosophizes about it while sipping a fine wine? That gets under your skin. You start questioning your own lines, wondering if charm and intellect can really coexist with such brutality, and that's a far more unsettling read than a simple slasher.
