I loved this Beta too much

I loved this Beta too much

I had never mustered the courage to ask about her age, but I could have sworn that the items from the Japanese Edo period she had inside her house looked like her personal belongings. Aside from the amazing knowledge, Sadako had an enormous collection of spell books. Since she had granted me unconditional access to her library, I went there to read every time I needed to forget. One night, when I woke up screaming and crying from another nightmare, I locked myself in that library and discovered an odd text about something called "the plea for justice." When the morning came, I showed it to Sadako. "This ritual is a sort of prayer," she explained. "A prayer?" I gave her an awkward smile.

Really underrated, awesome book. I rarely like the follow up beta stories but this was excellent. Kudos on another great work. It has everything. Great pacing, drama, action with lots of twists. This is your 3rd book I’ve read and have enjoyed them all. I will definitely read your other works

EJIMA

EJIMA

Anthony .O. Godwinenjifūjinumei no maiarella
The prints look like humans, but it has a missing toe on each side. Something crept through Ejima’s stomach, making the hair on her skin stand. She had heard tales of creatures with missing toes back in the village. Her uncle had told her scary stories of how these creatures offended the gods and were destroyed from the surface of the earth. Every story she had heard always painted the missing toe creatures like some mystical beings that do not exist. They were said to be barbarians who fed on anything that had meat. Go back now that you have the chance. A voice warned in her head but Ejima dismissed it. She unbuckled her sling from her waist and picked out three stones from her pouch. She m

The Lycan King’s Rogue Queen

The Lycan King’s Rogue Queen

And yet all I could think was—if they had killed her instead… The thought made my chest clench until my breath burned. --- Before I could voice it, another figure entered. Erynos. My oldest counselor. His robes trailed incense; his staff clicked against stone. His eyes—pale and old as bone—fixed on me with an unease that unsettled even my wolf. “There is more, Majesty,” he said softly. I frowned. “Speak.” “There is a legend,” he began, “older than the border between your kind and theirs.”

His Little Kitten

Others…well… ‘foxes with paranormal abilities from japanese folklore’ sums it up. One site goes as far as calling them trickster yōkai and goes on to explain yōkai as paranormal beings with godlike powers then equates them to demons or ghouls. They are symbols of wealth and fertility and are associated with Inari and found at shrines, but supposedly start to shapeshift at fifty to five hundred years old. Neither Aubrey or any of her living family members I know of are that old! It goes to show myths and reality can be very different even when a real life nine tailed fox shifter just gave you head and is licking their pouty, glossed lips on your office sofa.

Leading My Family to Glory

Leading My Family to Glory

“D*mn it! Are they seriously capable of manipulating the ghosts and spirits to fight for them?” “Shamans in Japan are good at manipulating ghosts and spirits,” Archie replied. “Some evil shamans, in particular, are capable of killing the living using various cruel methods before collecting the resentful ghosts. The more resentful a ghost is, the more powerful its destructive ability becomes.” Tyr’s understanding of the world was renewed by the battle between Jim and Ren in God Valley. He might have grown into a powerful Demigod, but his life experience was minimal compared to Archie’s due to his rapid growth. He was still in the exploration stage of this world.

5 stars+++One of the best books on here! I wished he could write another book as part 2 ! I laugh and I cried and I sat on the edge of my chair !! No other authors on this sight could come close to his writing . I hope he went to a different company for his other books for a contract ..

Love all the characters especially ML and FL. True love bonding. Tyr never sets his eyes on other women tho surrounded by them n possesses s/natural powers. Unlike some amazingSIL stories abandoned the wife for hundreds of chaps, he always keeps in touch wt his wife. Lots to learn from this story.

Dragon Eclipse

Dragon Eclipse

Raya asked with a confused face only to hear, "No, my lady. Even Kraken doesn't cross paths with the Legend." Raya was somehow fearful, as much as she wants to bring her husband back to life the more complicated it is getting for her to do so. First, it was Nixer and Griffin she wanted to fight with and now this Legend. "Once, spirits cursed Rebunge, a villager of Abuta Toyoura, to see the destruction of his town. They sent a part-spider-part-human creature, Yaoshikepu, to fulfil the curse. Yaoshikepu caused rampant destruction throughout the town, slaughtering so many that the streets were filled with crimson blood. After hearing the townsfolk tremble with fear, the sea kami, Repunkamui, tr

Vampire's Call

I nodded, my heart pounding with curiosity and anxiety. I asked the first thing that came into my mind, " Tell me the full story of the journal." He thought of something then nodded. He clasped his hands on his table and leaned forward to me, then started, "Long ago, when this realm was young and supernatural creatures were just starting to appear, there was a powerful artifact called the journal of Lythian. It was said to hold ancient secrets and knowledge that could give its owner incredible power. Legends told of its ability to control nature, manipulate time, and even summon otherworldly beings.

Flipping to the first page she skimmed the text. 'Vampiric entities exist in cultures across the world. Hysteria follows the legends of these phantoms, causing mass burnings and hangings of suspected vampires. Every culture has its own lore regarding vampires. These malevolent spirits would contaminate the living by biting them and drinking their life force to sustain their own.' This gave Layla pause as she remembered Atreus' elongated canines. She chewed her lip softly as she read on.

The Billionaire’s Bride

It was a diffuse feeling, difficult to pinpoint, but it gnawed at her like a psychic parasite. Kael, drawing upon his knowledge of ancient texts, discovered unsettling parallels between the whispers and legends of a race known as the Umbrae – shadow beings who thrived on negative emotions and could twist them into insidious weapons. The legends spoke of their eradication millennia ago, but could they have returned?
