The tall cypress trees emerge from the murky water, their gnarled roots entwined like bony fingers, while moss hangs from the branches like spectral drapes. Frogs maintain a rhythmic croaking, blending with the whispers of the wind and the distant rumble of thunder. A hybrid and wolf, in torment entwined, Bound in a pact, in blood and aligned. Under the crimson moon, witness of dread, Flesh and fur merge, where nightmares are bred. Prey and predator, bonded as one, A being of horror, the shameful undone. Accept this pact, O dark deity divine, A hybrid and wolf, in union, malign. Sealed for eternity, no remorse to reclaim, A curse to guide them, till time knows no name.” A searing pain ignited across my skin. It felt as if something was trying to rip my soul from my body.

This is my will so mote it be. As I finished reciting the poem, in the blink of an eye, the bedroom disappeared, and I found myself in a basement-like place.
