Eve tossed and turned, her sleep plagued by fragmented images that felt more like memories than dreams. A silver-haired woman stood in the middle of a darkened forest, her sorrowful eyes filled with an unbearable grief. Her lips moved, whispering words Eve couldn’t hear. Shadows swirled around her, creeping closer like an unseen force of doom. Then, the image shifted—a man, his features blurred, reached for the woman, only to be pulled away by something monstrous.
