When I rolled to my other side, Angela was lying on her back on the pull-out bed, covering her face with a blanket. I glance at my kids, sleeping like littermate puppies, snuggled together. Slowly, I climbed down from the bed and moved to Angela’s side, only to be surprised when she rolled her body, facing away from me. Angela was whimpering in silence, and when I pulled her toward me, her eyes and cheeks were wet with tears. “Angela…” I swallowed hard, not knowing what to say. “If you still want to take my children away from me, Sky, just kill me,” Her voice was trembling as she whispered.

She stopped, “and other things happened.” Jenna sighed as she saw Angela’s demeanor change, “are you ok?” she asked. Angela nodded, “Yes. It’s just before I worked in the castle, some terrible things happened.” Jenna sighed, “I’m sorry. I know that’s not easy. Just like how I was sold to vampires.” Angela nodded, “Yes and it had to do with the creatures. It only fueled my hate more.” Jenna sighed. She wanted to ask more but she could tell Angela didn’t want to talk about it. Whatever happened was terrible and maybe she would tell her when she was ready.

“Maybe we should finish up here first, Angela. This is Lyra’s special night.” But Angela didn’t budge. Her gaze was fixed on me, and I knew she wasn’t going to leave without getting what she wanted. “Fine,” I said, standing up and walking toward the door. “Let’s talk.” As soon as we stepped out into the hallway, Angela’s smile dropped, and her eyes hardened. “You think you’re so clever, don’t you?” she hissed, her voice low and dangerous. “Parading around in your perfect little life, acting like you’ve won.”

- I say and they both lift their eyes from their phones and smile. Once we finished discussing everything we walk out to find Elisabeth talking on the phone in the corner of the corridor. We all stop and go back inside leaving the door a little bit opened so we could listen. I know its wrong and I know I shouldn’t do it. “I am not doing it, I told you that” - I hear Elisabeth’s phone ‘You can’t make me’ - she says but this time I can hear frighten in her voice. Fuck what the hell is going on.

I winked at my angel. "You're going to kill him for ruining your shirt!" She protested from the ground, her lips lifting into a pout. "When did she relish in the death of others?" I asked Ares, concerned; Abigail had healed a man she hardly knew yesterday and bargained away a part of her soul to those angels to save that stranger's life! Yet now, bathed in the blood that fell from his lips like a waterfall, she seemed to hunger for it. "Stop thinking! Kill it!" Ares roared, wrath coursing through my veins, "Take care of him so we can get back to the task in hand; mating her and filling her womb with pups."

Beta Kryl picks Angela's mother up in support of one of my guards who came along with them. "Please call the pack doctor, mother! My mate will be there soon!" Mom tries to speak but there's no time for questions. I drop the call. ~~~~~~ Angela's POV My body was freezing gradually at a higher frequency and I could feel my blood clothing in my veins. I know my eyes were wide open, but I could barely see anything before me, just the chill of the freezing water raining down on me I could feel, and the smoky ice oozing out of me.

Without hesitation, the guys sprang into action, following my lead as I ran down the hall while Miguel restrained the fucker. I shut my eyes, trying to erase the image of those two sick fuckers touching her body and violating her. Nothing could have prepared me for what I saw when I walked into the room of horror. The look on Summer’s face. She was lying on the bed, comatose, with a blank stare as tears fell from her eyes as if she was blocking something out. I forced myself to hold back from ripping out the fucker’s throat. The last thing I wanted to do was scare the shit out of my Angel.

Well, I'm still staying at Zayde's room but I guess he's right when he said this is the safest place for me to dwell, especially when this entire mansion seems to literally suck the life out of me the moment I first stepped my feet inside. Good thing though, aside from a talking crow and a foreign-speaking butler, there were no other weird craps that could actually creep me out, like crying voices in the restroom or some unknown shadows or footsteps from the corridors and other crap. "But wait! If Alastor can actually talk, then why didn't he say anything the first time we met?" I couldn't help but ask, the moment Leaflet put the tray of my midnight snacks on the vintage table. Celina replied too quickly. Annoyed that he had to bring up the girl's name. "What do you mean she's not here?" West asked, confused. Greg sighed inwardly. He had seen enough of Mr West's daughters for tonight and made to politely tell him that he would meet her some other time when... "Ah, there she is." West said, obviously excited at seeing his third daughter. Sighing again, Greg absently turned to see whoever she was. Time stood still and his breath got caught in his chest when he beheld the angelic young woman that paused on the stairs some distance away from them, her eyes scanning the room looking for someone...looking for him, he wished, to his own surprise.

"Do you know who I am?" Sabrina growls as she moves. She's increasing in height, her skin turning dark blue. Her eyes are a bright yellow colour. Holy shit. "I'm not sure. Why don't you tell me what you are?" I say, even though my heart is racing now.
