She leaned down, licked the wound slowly, her tongue trailing over the spot where she had bitten. The skin glowed. A tattoo bloomed into existence across Aria’s chest — a crest carved in divine sigil, blooming like ink in water: A serpent curling around a golden apple, its tail piercing a crown, its fangs dripping onto a rose wrapped in thorns. Eris’s mark. “I’m yours now,” Eris said, voice hoarse, hands framing Aria’s face. “Forever.” Aria’s body moved on instinct. She reached up, pulled Eris down, and kissed her hard.

It was the Crimson Blade. “Didn't I says not to get close to them? What, Now? One of them already know your a girl. Later on he will also know you are a Killer. Didn't I say you don't need them? That you don't deserve them? Your a lonely wolf seeking for revenge. You can't get too close to anyone until you achieve it. We been shackled with this hatred towards that man. A fire that will never be burnt down. We're living in darkness and they are living in the light. Light and dark can never be together.”

It was still gentle, yet it held fear and maybe a bit of curiosity. “I'm listening,” he said. After I turned when I was 16, the Goddess gifted him to me as my spirit wolf. I named him Krimson due to his unique red coat. ‘There’s nothing right about forcing me to be with a witch I just met,’ I answer, heading to the front door. ‘I like Kiara and all, but why argue with the Alpha if the union will be temporary? Just until we find our fated,’

The word slammed into me again, the same word Sydney had spat at me like an insult I wasn't meant to understand. "What is a Crimson wolf?" The question tore out of me, desperate, hungry for an answer I'd been denied my entire life. "Crimson wolves are omegas — easy to underestimate, easy to overlook at a glance. "Tell me all you know of Amara." Thalia begins to explain, her voice steady and filled with conviction. "Amara is unique, King Badan. I believe she is a hybrid—half wolf or lycan, mixed with witch's blood. If my suspicions are correct, she is the last descendant of the Crimson pack, making her royalty. It seems that she was bound as a baby to hide the immense power she holds within, and her counterpart was bound to never surface."

And on his left was the witch who became their ally to finally bring down the four packs. He stood in the middle strong and unbothered by the screams of everyone. He raised his right hand and with that, opened a huge door on the far right side of the dome. With heavy steps and weak bodies, four men went out of the huge door. As they made their entrance, everyone shouted louder and more aggressive. “KILL THEM!” “CUT THEIR HEADS OFF!” The four men walked slowly and finally made it to the center facing Brody. Brody smiled in arrogance as he spits on one of the men, the Alpha of the Crimson Crest pack, Connor.

Aldric’s hand found hers instinctively, his grip warm and steady. The bond flared with protective intensity. “He won’t get near her,” Aldric said firmly. Marcus studied him carefully. “You’re her mate.” “Yes.” The Alpha of Crimson Hollow nodded once. “That helps.” Regina blinked. “How?” “Blood Moon wolves are strongest when bonded,” Marcus explained. “The connection stabilizes their power.” She looked down at her hand still clasped in Aldric’s. The bond pulsed warmly. “So the mate bond…” “…may have awakened your abilities faster,” Marcus finished.
