Eternal Legacies Serie's Vampire rising

Eternal Legacies Serie's Vampire rising

-I accept," she murmured. -But my lord... Magnus raised his hand in protest-I assume any and all risks-and the wolves bowed their heads and fell silent as Magnus sealed the deal with a handshake from Suzanna. The day dawned and the construction of the Dagger of Death began, after all they had no time to lose, for at any hour Vlad and his armies could arrive there. And it was inside a tent that everything that would be needed for the construction of the weapon was placed and with the help of Magnus and Sheila they began. First they worked on the construction of the dagger blade, which had to be as thin and sharp as a barber's blade. After Magnus placed it in an iron cauldron filled with boili

Dragon-kissed

Dragon-kissed

“Precisely. A den of Nagas had made a trade with the hiyasha in return for more Adamantine.” Nagas were yet another stuff of legend. The name referred to a breed of reptilian humanoid creatures, very tall and lithe and exhibiting a sort of savage ferocity in battle. But Aki knew from personal experience that there was truth in the rumors about the monster warriors. “A trade?” she echoed. “Why would they do that?” “Because Adamantine is the only thing on the planet that can break the shell of the Dragon God’s Egg.”

Falling Stardust

All of these were made of Brown Diamonds, One of the strongest substances in Semeria and the material used to make Gin's war hammer. Gin's Warhammer was made from the ground Dragon's body, the hammerhead was one of its horns and the pole arm was one of its bone. Xasha had realized that when a weapon is made from the body parts are energy core of the same energy beasts, the Remnant spirit is stronger and the mana resonance is more profound. Xasha called this familiarity. The mana in the core and the mana in the bones and claws knew each other well and had worked together before.

Accidentally Fell For My Ex's Uncle. The Dark Alpha

"We still have Draven's chains. The ones he broke." "Three of them," Sable said. "We forge better ones." Drift looked at Sable. "Not trade-weight. Something proper. Something built for what he is." He glanced at Nero. "There's a blacksmith at the south end of the settlement. Orren. He builds for the mountain hunters — heavier gauge than anything you'd find in market stock." He paused. "He can do it." Sable was quiet. "Sable," Drift said. "Think about what we're standing next to."

Breaking The Peace

Breaking The Peace

I have lightning whips, one clone has a fire sword, one has a rifle, one has a body made of light, and one has bracelets spinning around her wrists made of water and ice. The clone with the rifle shoots down the negator that was left. They can’t negate a bullet. The clone with the fire sword speeds to some soldiers and cuts their guns melting it in their hands. I use my lightning whips to do the same to the other guns. I grab one soldier's foot with the whip and throw them across the air into nearby soldiers.

I asked her. “My bow broke in two when I fought against Link” she said “Link from Breath of the Wild?” I said “yes but can you fix it?” said Nyalter “actually I can, I have a forge located within my Friendly Strangers Gang Hideout so yes but the problem is that my forge has limited resources. I just set up my forge a few weeks ago” I said “okay Master Arnold” said Nyalter “anyway can I test out your bow” I said “sure Arnold” said Nyalter. So she gave her bow to me. Next I grab an arrow made out of Moonstone and pull the string and the Moonstone arrow back and the power within the bow was beginning to go unstable “looks like your bow has a lot of power, if your use it now the power within you

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Caspian prepared three inscription patterns for Ghoul-Locker Spear: Heavy Weapon, Armor-Breaker, and Flowing Wind. The Heavy Weapon, commonly known as the weight inscription, was the first pattern Caspian ever drew, and it was also his most skilled one. The Wave-Breaking Sword was a great sword with a sharp blade. Thus, by enhancing its weight, it could naturally increase the power of its slash. Furthermore, the weight inscriptions that Caspian drew provided a more extensive amplification than those in the past. Consequently, what seemed to be a giant sword actually had a weight comparable to a heavy hammer, which was a nightmare for the unprepared enemies.

Even if i still read it, this book stopped being interesting after Grand pure emperor was killed...(that is ch. 2200 maybe) It is like realms are only introduced after he reaches a peak of the previous. There is nothing special about these realms and there is nothing special about the book anymore.

Beneath The Shadows

Beneath The Shadows

Lukas yelled a curse when he felt Nagar standing beside him. "If that thing is dead," he unclipped his chin strap to help him breathe more easily. "You would be able to kill the bastard with that shit of yours." He pointed at the Demon's horn. "But of course, you need to do it quickly." "What are you talking about?" He asked as Delubyo landed beside his master beyond. Nagar threw his helmet aside. He approached the corpse of the dead soldier and bent beside him to unclip its grenades and attached it onto his belt.

she assures me. I look behind everyone and realise Zarseti’s not wrong. As the shadows charge upon their prey with a speed I’ve never seen from them, they’re met with unexpected resistance. A golden light emanates from the nagata as they attack the eyti head-on, hissing and using their tails to whip them out of their path. Every partially shifted mutolupus growls, charging on mass and catching the eyti with ease, ducking, weaving and fighting them back. I really like this series! It’s original, hot, well written and we get attached to the characters. There’s so many of them tho that I can’t just read without taking notes ... But it doesn’t change the fact that the book is great! Really liked Gabriella and would like to get more on Derrick!

Frequently Asked Questions

A cruciform sword is a medieval European weapon defined by its cross-shaped hilt, consisting of a straight, double-edged blade, a horizontal crossguard, and a grip aligned with the blade's axis. When held point-down, the sword resembles a Christian cross—hence the name “cruciform.”

Key Features of the Cruciform Sword Blade: Typically straight, double-edged, and designed for both cutting and thrusting.

Crossguard: A horizontal bar of metal that protects the wielder’s hand and can trap or deflect enemy blades.

Grip and Pommel: The grip is usually wrapped in wood, leather, or wire, and the pommel at the end helps balance the sword.

These swords were typically between 28 to 36 inches in blade length and weighed around 2.5 to 3.5 pounds, making them versatile and agile in combat.

Historical Context Cruciform swords emerged around the 10th century and became the standard sidearm of European knights during the High and Late Middle Ages (roughly 1000–1500 CE). They were favored in both warfare and ceremonial settings, especially during the Crusades, where the symbolic cross shape held religious significance.

Symbolism and Religious Meaning Beyond their function in battle, cruciform swords symbolized Christian faith, chivalry, and knightly duty. The cross-shaped hilt became an emblem of divine protection and moral righteousness, often featured in medieval art, literature, and tomb effigies.

Modern Relevance Today, cruciform swords are found in:

Museum collections as historical artifacts.

Historical reenactments and medieval martial arts (HEMA).

Popular culture, including films like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade with the fictional Brotherhood of the Cruciform Sword.

Replica crafting and LARPing, where enthusiasts recreate their historical look and feel.

Summary The cruciform sword is more than a weapon—it’s a cultural icon that bridges history, faith, and martial tradition. Its design influenced centuries of European sword-making and remains a powerful symbol in both scholarly study and modern media.
