Tonight was supposed to be the first calm Friday in forever: no revenants, no Hollow Choir remnants, no oni trying to drag me into a drinking contest under the bleachers. I’m in my room, door locked, chemistry notes spread out like a losing battle. I’m re-drawing the same Vinča symbol on my palm for the 2,114th time (healing wipes it clean every morning, same old routine). Then the bloodstone cracks. Valentina lounged on a toppled column, her crimson lips curling into a smirk. “The wolves are restless,” she drawled. “I hear whispers of a white wolf awakening.” My jaw tightened. “Not whispers. Prophecy.”

I just blinked my eyelids at the Beta and he understood the task well. He went over to Cassidy's side and lured her into coming over. " You cannot escape from my threshold," I whispered telepathically into her mind. "Sit down" I ordered. "Make me." “I said sit…DOWN!” She grunted. Murmured and grumbled to herself but still she sat down. I unveiled the item before everyone which lay on the stool. It was a golden crown that was made of emerald stones sparkling like diamonds. "I have decided to crown Cassidy Hart as the Luna of Blood Moon pack," I announced to the crowd.

At the center stood a structure that made the breath catch in Aria’s throat. A crown. Not a symbol. Not ceremonial. Real. Forged of black metal veined with gold, suspended above a stone pedestal by nothing at all. It hovered, unmoving, humming with restrained power. Damien swore quietly. “That’s not possible,” Serel whispered. “The Crown is above us.” Aria shook her head. “That’s a shadow. An anchor.” She stepped forward before anyone could stop her. The air shifted immediately. The hum deepened. The symbols flared brighter, casting jagged light across the chamber walls. No more secrets.”

The Crown floated above the throne. Silver light poured from it endlessly. The ancient voice thundered through the chamber. "The unworthy shall never rule." The words echoed everywhere. Malrik stared at the Crown. Hatred twisted his face. Years...he had spent years chasing power. Years hunting Ariana, years searching for the kingdom. And the Crown had rejected him with a single touch. --- Then something unexpected happened. The Crown turned toward Ariana and Orion. The silver glow intensified. The guardians immediately knelt once more.

“The first king cannot return without a body.” Shigure looked at me. “A body carrying royal tide blood and wolf memory.” Cael gave a bitter laugh. “So everyone chose the same girl.” The book opened again. This page showed the blood moon. Three crowns circled beneath it. The Tide Crown. The Stormcrest Crown. A third crown made from black bone. Words burned across the glass. That was who we were. The Broken Crown. Five people who kept breaking themselves to save everyone else. "Rest now," the Queen commanded. "Tomorrow, we continue. But tonight—rest." We nodded. Moved toward our separate chambers. Separated but still connected through bonds we maintained by choice. As I reached my door, I felt disturbance through cosmic awareness. Something was coming. Something vast. Something that made the Architect's previous attempts look gentle. Through the bond, the others felt it too. "What is that?" Marcus sent.

They reached the underground crypt — a chamber sealed by runes and old metal. Nora stepped forward, pressing the pendant against the seal. The air shifted.
