I mumbled as she cried long and hard. My back was hurting from bending so much to her height but it was worth it. Just like my baby, I would do anything for Gracie too. When she finally stopped crying, she smiled. “That feels better,” she said pulling away, “I feel better. I think crying is better than medicine,” she joked, but it was actually true. “It is,” I agreed. We both moved closer to the crib and Gracie's smile grew wider. “She's beautiful,” her gaze shifted to the baby, and I followed it.

He came and hugged them from behind. It was such a beautiful scene that the spectators were left speechless seeing them hug each other. Suddenly someone spoke from behind. “Hey, enough already, you guys are making my wife cry so miserably. I've never in my twenty years of marriage ever seen her cry so miserably.” He complained with a smile on his face.

His jaw worked like he was chewing on words he wouldn’t say. The sadness was on him. On both of them. In the set of their shoulders. In the way they wouldn’t meet my eyes for too long. I needed to force a smile. If I didn’t, they’d carry this. My grief on top of their own. So I did. It felt like splitting my face open. “We’re alive,” I said. The smile didn’t reach my eyes. Couldn’t. “That counts for something.” “Yeah,” Jace said. Too quick. “Yeah, it does.”

"I am not crying Krish, they are happy tears. You don't know how I am feeling right now. "Then show me simple " ,he smirked making me giggle. I did show him.

I broke down in emotion, crying so pitifully that a severely injured person like Brian had to coax me back. "Crying is ugly, smiling... it's better to cry...." Brian said while frowning; every word he uttered seemed like he wanted to take his life. I put my finger on Brian's lips, stopping him from continuing. For his peace of mind, I also tried not to cry; I forced a wry smile. My face must be terrible, but Brian looks at me gently.

But we didn't know that there is still someone who treats love seriously, there's still someone who can be contented, that there's still someone that can change for you and can make you feel your worth and value. Sometimes, we thought that there is someone that doesn't even experience problems in this world. Because all they know is just to laugh, smile, and be happy. But we didn't know that behind those smiles, there's pain that's hidden behind. Like JC. He's a happy person. But as they said, we smile not only because we are happy, sometimes we smile because that's the only way for us to hide the pain we feel. That even we have problems, we can still afford to make someone smile and happy.

The tears I tried not to show but you can force a smile and not a tear. "It's okay to cry" I could hear Jake's voice in my head.The tears fell immediately. "Goodbye" I turned,walked slowly and then ran. **I'm trying to smile,to keep it going.But it's hurts so much**
