Cursed Ship Novels & Stories

I watched Creed’s eyebrows scrunch together as he gave me a pouty look. Reese nodded, but gave me a curious look, “I just don’t understand why you only have three fated mates if we’re all connected. I mean, why weren’t you I fated?” I looked around at Creed and the boy’s as we all thought it over. Oh my goddess, why didn’t I see this sooner?

"Look at you, Amelia. You're like a madwoman!" She pointed out the car window. "Do you know where we are? This is where the wolves tore Heidi apart! I'm going to make sure you meet the same fate!" Fear gripped my heart, yet I did not seem to care. Death might even be a relief at this point. "Go to hell!" Mandy flung open the car door and shoved me out. I hit the ground hard, but the physical pain paled in comparison to the sorrow in my heart. Soon, the car's headlights faded into the distance, leaving me engulfed in darkness.

Suddenly, from the corner of the room, their mother’s voice rose in a broken wail. “Carla! Don’t take one of my children. It’s just me… It’s just me. Don’t make them suffer!” The plea cut through the air like a knife, raw and pleading. Their mother’s eyes were wide with terror, her bound hands twisting against the ropes as she rocked back and forth. The name “Carla” hung in the room like a summoned ghost, a tangible thread linking the present torment to the sins of the past. Eloise and Elena exchanged a glance heavy with shared dread—the curse was stirring again, drawing closer, its tendrils reaching for what little they had left.

Chapter three. The Cursed Union Overwhelmed by Mary’s words, he became light-headed and his legs buckled, causing him to drop to his knees as he looked at the pregnant, frail lady he was about to be forced to marry. She looked at him with sorry eyes while her arms were wrapped around her belly. “I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to do this to you. It wasn't my fault. I was drugged,” she said sympathetically. Her parent on the other hand, were smiling from ear to ear, overjoyed that their daughter was getting married to the most powerful family in London.

The air vibrates with thunder, each clap shaking the very water around me. I struggle to stay afloat, coughing and spluttering, trying to make sense of the nightmare unfolding before me. Another ship, claimed by the Cursed Gulf. Another sacrifice to the Sea of Storms, destined to rest at the bottom with countless others. The mast, now broken, drifts by against the tide.

The once vibrant and spirited deck of their ship now felt empty, haunted by the absence of her presence. Eric was torn between his duty as a captain and his personal anguish. The dark wand pack, an ancient artifact of immense power, had brought a terrible fate upon his crew. It was a cursed treasure, sought after by his father, who had sinister intentions for its use. The twisted legacy of his family had cast a shadow over Eric's life, and he could not escape its grasp.

I closed my eyes, trying to force calm, but t‍he image of‌ Kingston angry, protective, and aching for m‍e refused to fade. Some‌where in t‌he shadows of the ship,‍ I‍ knew our jo‍urney was only beginning. The vast, u‍npred‌ictable ocean was no match for the dangers waiting f‌or us on land. But the question gnawed at the edge of my thoughts, a question I co‌uld not shake: If the curse is not brok‌en in time, and we surviv‌e the journey, will Kingston remain the Alpha or will the darkness claim him b‌efore we even reach our destination?

The Respiration didn't land so much as it anchored itself into the sea, its massive, barnacled hull groaning as it settled against the basalt pedestal of the spire. It was a Frankenstein of a ship—sections of sleek Sterling "White-Steel" welded to rusted industrial scavenge and draped in a hardy, vacuum-resistant strain of Whisper-Moss that glowed with a sickly, pale violet light.

The words felt like a storm ripping through the sky on a perfectly sunny day. James took me home, and we didn't exchange a single word the entire night. I drowned in my grief, too consumed by the loss to notice his strange behavior. The next day, Jess arrived with her son, David, practically glowing with joy. "David's heart condition is completely cured," she said brightly. "We won't need to visit the hospital anymore." Her words struck me like a knife. I exploded, my pain spilling into a heated argument. But before I could say much, James shoved me to the ground.

Her answer sure came as a surprise to me. “It’s hard to understand this but the ancestors of the Goldsman were lycanthrope. It’s said that the Eldest Goldsman was referred to as Lord. He was cursed by a nasty witch after he ordered her execution for murdering innocent kids in name of sacrificial rituals. Due to it, he underwent a lot of trouble.” Caitlyn had a distant look in her eyes, staring past my shoulders towards the forest behind me.
