Wherever Life Takes Us

Wherever Life Takes Us

I tried to call over the airpod in a hurry but he wasn't answering, my eyes searched swiftly for him and he was really busy fighting off two guys alone. I turned to look back at the Brett guy, I kicked him hard with this thick boot so he was still passed out on the floor. I turned back to the ticking bomb the timer on it had just twenty seconds more. God!!, Cutting the wrong wire can be a lot worse. I had suddenly forgotten the order in which Aunt Katie asked me to cut with. Which wire do I cut first, the red the blue, or the yellow? I brought out the small pocket knife I brought along with me.

Beyond Broken

Beyond Broken

“I’ll be right back.” She nodded her head and watched me disappear into the bathroom to grab the first aid kit. It wasn’t much. Just some gauze, band-aids, and some kind of cream. I grabbed a bottle of alcohol to clean the wound. I wasn’t sure where in the house she got cut. Better safe than sorry. When I got back, she was still standing in the same spot that I left her. It took a few minutes for me to clean the dried blood and bandage it up.

CROSSROAD

CROSSROAD

His hands and legs trembled as he fought the urge to fly across the track and make him pay hard. The train inched forward as another loud blare sounded in the distance, this time, much closer. Both men stood their ground, heaving, unflinching, and unwilling to back off, their eyes spitting fire. The train from the other end slapped past, forcing them to abandon their feud. Dev broke the connection and backed up into the compartment with a head that felt like it was about to explode. ***

IN THE ARMS OF THE SNIPER

IN THE ARMS OF THE SNIPER

Takk The sound of scissors being placed roughly on the table became a sign for Calistha that her ordeal was over. At least Aiden had completed a series of processes of piercing her skin using a tiny twelve millimeter needle that felt truly hell to her. She had never before resorted to a treatment so careless, risky, and so unsterile as this. Even when she suffered abrasions from falling from her bicycle, she received very sterile treatment from her personal doctor. So if after this she experiences bad things because of being contaminated with bacteria, that damn man must be held responsible.

Crewcut smirked as he whipped out a huge scimitar and swung it at Caleb, launching a horrific shockwave! Caleb did the same, swinging the Dharmic Cutter vertically! That was when a silver spear thrusted straight at Crewcut's back, stabbing him from behind! His eyes widened in disbelief as he gasped, "You're an executor… but you stabbed me in the back?!" Boom! Shadows of Silk & Steel: A Billionaire's Secret, A Bodyguar

Shadows of Silk & Steel: A Billionaire's Secret, A Bodyguar

He lay there, semi-conscious, moaning softly, his body a map of catastrophic failure. Sabatine stood over him, breathing heavily, his left arm dripping a steady patter of blood onto the broken glass. The knife turn was complete. Kaine had struck with his last, desperate weapon, and Sabatine had absorbed the blow and turned it into the final, shattering counter. He looked down at his arm. The cut was deep, ugly. He’d need stitches. A lot of them. But it was a clean wound. It would heal. He bent, wincing as his leg protested, and picked up Kaine’s stiletto from the floor. He looked at the fine, deadly blade, then at the broken man weeping in a pile of glass.

My Billionaire Ex-husband Won't Call It Quit

My Billionaire Ex-husband Won't Call It Quit

His knife—a monomolecular blade that could cut through enhanced armor like tissue paper—traced a silver arc toward Griffin's exposed back. Only years of combat training saved Griffin's life. He spun with inhuman grace, the blade grazing his ribs instead of piercing his heart, drawing a line of fire across enhanced skin that healed even as the cut was made. But Twin B's assault didn't pause—he flowed from the missed strike into a grappling maneuver designed to break Griffin's neck with mechanical efficiency.

The Azure Moon Series - Complete Collection

The Azure Moon Series - Complete Collection

He answers me. “The incision across his hairline. It’s a perfectly straight.” Rayne looks really confused. “Something sharp was used to make this cut.” I carried on cleaning his face. “If I didn’t know better. I would have thought someone has tried to scalp him.” I didn’t look up, but I could feel Rayne staring at me. “Are you sure?”

Love it!!! It sounds like a sequel is expected and I can’t wait!! However there are some editing to do since the use of I, he, she in conversations from first person to third person swapping gets confusing. Overall, highly recommend reading this!

I am sorry writing about the war during the eclipse and how the Royals won but I wouldnt have known about those if I havent read it already. Putting that aside, which I know will be fixed soon, I have to recommend the author, why I am rereading them. BOOK 2 THE MISSING LUNA. BOOK 3 ALPHA NIX?

The Mafia Don's Innocent Love

The Mafia Don's Innocent Love

The mere thought of her suffering pierced through my chest, like a serrated blade against my pounding heart. Relief washed over me when I heard Wyatt exhale a breath of gratitude. I leaned forward, eager for an explanation. "What happened?" I inquired, my voice trembling with concern. Thankfully, Wyatt clarified the severity of the cut. Cutting vertically could have been fatal, but fortunately, the incision wasn't deep enough to damage any major arteries or veins. "She's fortunate to be alive," he remarked. "She did lose some blood, but not a significant amount. She was found relatively quickly. I wish I could use skin glue to lessen the pain, but stitches are the best option." His gaze met

The Game of Heavens and Earth

The Game of Heavens and Earth

The five of us remained on guard. Those who were weaponless picked up the bronze knives that were scattered all over the ground. I, on the other hand, grabbed the uprooted tree. As we got close to finishing him off, Cutler cackled again before he was coughing heavily. Eventually, cracks began to appear all over his body. “Cutman?” Brock called him out.
