Chapter 2 Lucy couldn't sleep because of the noise from Phoenix's room. He could hear the noise of their classmate muttering and moaning as they reached the oragasm. He slapped the headset on his ears, facing the mirror to tie his long hair. He winced in pain when he saw his left hand with a wound. "The blade of her tooth." He complained and he bathed his hand with alcohol. The whole day ended with nothing for him. His name is Lucifer Cuenca, but the school owner who is a friend of his father calls him Lucy.

When a car struck me and sent me flying, blood sprayed everywhere. It resulted in ruptured organs, so I begged my wife, Lucy Hathaway, to take me to the hospital. But she told me to endure it because her younger uncle, Alan Cooper, had surgery that day. To stop me from applying to a foreign institution, Lucy went so far as to lock me in a cold storage room kept at negative twenty degrees Celsius. “The chance to travel abroad has to go to Alan. Two fluffy silver fox ears sprouted atop his head like mischievous antennae of divine gossip. “Oh no no no—!” he gasped, quickly slapping a leaf on his head with practiced panic. The leaf shimmered once, and the ears vanished. He looked around, cheeks puffed in embarrassment. Good. No witnesses. Not even that creepy vending machine ghost. Yin coughed, smoothing down his hair with faux dignity. “Anyway, yes. She’s definitely the one. Nexus’s whole ‘the land shall choose the spirit-bearing flame born in rust’ nonsense? Yeah. Selena literally works in Vermillion Cyberspace. Couldn’t get more prophetic if it slapped us.”

He gazed unto the veiled lady and waited for her response. "Would you not reconsider, Your Excellency?" Lucy asked when she got the bottle and stored it in her spatial ring. It was a must that she does not fail in this mission. The Ancestor even commanded her to please this boy with her body just to make him come. Lucy shivered at the thought. Like every slave of the Pinion Family, she was groomed to be used. It seems like this will be my first, Lucy thought sadly.

Before I could respond, Lucy's teeth sank into my hand. I yelped in pain, releasing my grip on her arm. She tore free, her eyes flashing with a crazed light as she turned to flee.

She naturally didn't expect that Lucas would actually say something like that. "Senior, why are you looking for the places where zombies gather?" "You don't have to ask about this. You just need to tell me where they are." "Senior, shall I take you there?" Lucy looked at Lucas. Lucas nodded. The next day... Lucy took Lucas out of Thunder Mountain Organization. Half an hour later, Lucy led Lucas to a place where zombies gathered. This was a small-scale place where zombies gathered. He put Apocalyptic Legion out of System Space.

My hands shook. Lucy shouted again in my mind. "Let me out!" "I told you, I can’t!" I yelled back at her. "We’re going to die!" she cried. "Then so be it!" I retorted. The wolf crouched, ready to attack, snarling its teeth. And then—it jumped. But it never reached me. A blinding light burst from my chest. Lucy exploded out of me mid-air, her body glowing silver. She crashed into the wolf with full force, clawing her nails into its throat.
