CRUNCH. A massive Titan-Class Droid stepped through the breach. It was twelve feet of reinforced steel and hydraulic rage, armed with a rotary cannon. "Target: The Hackers," The Titan’s synthesized voice boomed. "No!" Aurora threw a telekinetic shield up, but the Titan’s mass was too great. It smashed through her shield with a casual backhand, sending Aurora flying into a server rack. "Aurora!" Kael screamed. He charged the Titan, risking his life to jam his electrified baton into its knee joint.

He was sitting in a high-backed chair, a cruel smile on his face, a holographic projection of the collapsing Abyssal Vault behind him. "Greetings, children of man," Caspian-Prime’s voice boomed through the global network. "You think you’ve seen a miracle. You’ve only seen a weapon. My misguided clone and his corrupted Phoenix wife have just absorbed eleven of the twelve world updates. They are a virus in waiting. But I... I am your salvation." He held up a glowing, violet crystal—the Command Sequence. "I have the final key. I can purge them. I can reset the world to a state of order. All I require is your trust... and your complete access to the global network."

“Monroe buried the primary access behind multiple biometric failsafes—linked to him and you.” Aurora’s gaze flicked between Damien and Prime. “So either you override the system…” “Or he does,” Damien finished grimly. The pod hissed again, the fluid beginning to drain. Prime’s form rose, unbothered by gravity, landing barefoot on the steel platform. Naked, expressionless, and terrifyingly calm. Prime stepped forward, movements fluid but mechanical, like a man who hadn’t yet remembered how to be human. Damien stepped between him and the others.

“Through them we have received amazing news. The location of the Core has been found here on Earth.” Shocked gasps were heard from everyone in the room, save for the confused two new recruits. The Core is the massive super computer that controls the entirety of the Techs. Both Earth based Techs and the Aliana Techs are under its command, though it is not the same as the command of a leader. Rather than telling them what to do, the Core keeps the machines running in the Tech part of them. Little tiny chips run in each piece of machinery in every Tech, even the parts in the Partials, and are controlled by the Core. It can shut down selected Techs or all of them. Supposedly it was made as a fai
