“Enough. Tell me, how do I make Rachel come back to me?” Vincenzo replied, “Did you actually believe that? You really are an idiot.” I raised a brow, my right hand slowly moving toward the gun at my waist. “I can’t make Rachel change her mind,” Vincenzo added, “but I can help you kill her and put you back on your throne as the Don.” A sinister smile spread across his face. “The price is Brooklyn and Queens.” I said nothing. Just as my fingers brushed against my gun, the guard beside me pressed a barrel against my head.

Angelo replied, annoyed. “You haven't told me anything about yourself too, and I don't care. What I know is enough to work with.” Cielo replied, packing up the files in one stack. “If I find out you're fucking with me, I'll put a bullet through your head.” Angelo threatened. “Alright. Now you stay back here and rest, I gotta go back into town.” She patted him on his shoulder before walking out of the house. ***

There were flashes from many cameras directed at their limousine immediately they stopped. Chiara groaned silently. The sight of the reporters by the entrance irritated her. It was the annual gala ball hosted by Leonardo. The gala was to celebrate Mariano Corp. and it also served as a means of raising funds for his foundation. The foundation was established by Leonardo, about twenty four years back, right after Chiara was born. The foundation catered for abused women and children, Leonardo was very passionate about this cause.

Andrei commanded and I found myself short of words. “Oh, that is good!” Angela muttered and I looked at her in horror. Angela was a nightmare. I spoke too soon. I forgot Andrei still knew me more than anybody else. Serving Angela? I rather pull out my tongue! “No,” I whimpered desperately hoping help would come from somewhere and get me and Dave out of there. “You heard me, Euthalia!” His jaw clenched tightly. “The royal library is sacred and your intentional choice has sent it going off in ashes. This is me being nice.” He continued.

The name printed in elegant, silver script made my stomach drop. Abel D’Angelo.

Angela admitted; "since your education is progressing very quickly and to congratulate you, I have decided to take you to the Library of the Peak, in the town of Breddon" I jumped up from my chair, overexcited by this news. Angela and Keith had been telling me about this library for, I would say, two years, and every day I dreamed of visiting it. Apparently, it would be one of the most grandiose libraries in Edios, maybe even in the whole world, if I were to leave out the royal libraries of the countries.

ELARA’S POV “Angelo Valestilo,” Angelo says coolly, flicking a gold coin toward the guard. “We want to speak with the Librarian.” The man catches the coin, glances at it, then grunts. “Magic word accepted.” A metal detector beeps weakly as we pass. I doubt it could detect a bazooka, let alone a knife. Nate’s hand stays firm on my lower back, silent, steady. As we step into the hallway, it feels more like a tunnel tight and damp. My heels echo in a rhythm that sets my nerves on edge.

I accidently blurted out and they both looked at me. “You’re dating someone?” James asked “You sneak” Tattia said “no… wait… I didn’t mean..” I didn’t continue because the door opened and Dante walked in with Antonio and Gio behind him. In the past few weeks I’ve come to realize that Dante, Gio and Antonio were basically Kian, well what I knew of him. Antonio was a master manipulator I saw him work his magic on Serena and Gio was just evil if he wanted to be and Dante, well he didn’t really show much. I made it my mission to try and get a read on all of them.

Ethan returned to his room and sat on his bed in silence. "What happened in Italy?" he tried to recall the night they returned from the casino. "Did I sleep with her?" he questioned himself but still had no answer. He lay on the bed after changing into something comfortable and closed his eyes to sleep. The next day was a Saturday. Andrews entered the Carter's compound carrying a small bag filled with his clothing. It was eight in the morning. He was ushered to the main house by one of the guards. Derby went to inform Ethan about the person looking for him.

" said Alex with a smile . Antonio was still staring at his child with a dumbfounded expression . " If he was my kid , I would stare at him the same way you are now . " said Alex who couldn't keep his laugh anymore .
