We also happened to share the same dream, which was to start our own business.
We continued with our little kiosk, selling trinkets, before changing to a proper shop lot. Then, we grew into a chain business and eventually got our company listed. The company was named after both our last names, called Rosedam Co.
Our business kept growing day by day. We even collaborated with a few business partners, all of them women with great ideas, great ambition, and most importantly, who had also faced great adversity in life.
We also often talked about women helping each other out.
