*** Jana comes swooping down upon them in the form of a screaming, bloodthirsty eagle. Regina, startled, clutches at Mattel, who tucks her in a fluid movement into his side, throwing up a leaping dark wall from their shadows. The eagle dodges smoothly, shifting mid-air and landing lithely on her feet in front of them. Mattel, still curled around a trembling Regina, grits his teeth and sends her a scathing glare. “You,” he hisses. “Need to be neutered.” Jana preens. She seems to find it a personal victory each time she manages to terrify unwitting humans. “I came to let you know that Damian and I are departing,” She announces, with little preamble.

SOPHIA We had burgers and milkshakes for dinner and Janet didn't look like she minded. There was a glint in her eyes as she ate but once I told her what Damien had said to me, it vanished. She stopped chewing and her gaze turned murderous. “He asked you to be what?” She asked, sheer disbelief imprinted all over her face and I smiled as I placed my half eaten burger back on my plate and looked at her. “Yes, Janet. He asked me to be his lover and I keep wondering why but nothing comes to mind. It makes absolutely no sense and his audacity just keeps surprising me because why would he do that?” I asked her and she sighed.

Jennifer nodded her head Damien said "then, I'm giving you a golden opportunity show your anger and rage on this bitch infront of you, kill her in every you wants but remember onething show this death as a suicide not like a murder" Jennifer nodded her head and said "sure bro don't worry, I will show this bitch the worst death oops I'm sorry, I mean the worst suicide" Damien smiled with a smirk, Jennifer took blade and said "now I will show kinds of suicides"

Jason replied and Janet burst into laughter. Ava looked blankly before laughing as well “Wait, this guy is weird” Ava said and Jason shrugged. “When did he ever look normal to you?” Jason asked and Ava shook her head. “He never looked normal,” Ava said and Janet burst into laughter. “Janet, what’s so funny?” Ava asked and Janet stopped laughing for a while. “It’s actually cute you know. Asking her to marry him is like saying, whatever happens, they fight or not; they are tied forever. It’s a cute way of Damien saying he’s never going to leave her” Janet said and Ava sighed.

Small, jeweled base winking under the fabric. My stomach flipped. Innocent Janette? She was already plugged. Owned. Wrapped around his finger just like me. Damian chose that moment to grab his keys. “I’m heading to the airport to pick up Mom. You two good here?” Hurst’s voice floated from the hallway. “We’re great, man. Drive safe.” Damian left, and the house fell quiet for a while, until a muffled leaked through the wall only moments later. I tried to ignore it.

dad called from where he was seated to get my attention. "Yes dad" I answered rolling my eyes. I wonder why he still calls me pumpkin, someone needs to tell him, I am a grown-ass woman now. "Have you seen this?" He asked pointing to the magazine he had been reading to me, I went closer to him to see what he was trying to show me. On getting there, I discovered it was the picture of Cassandra and Damian Photoshop together. I felt sad, Cassandra looked happy in the picture, what if she decides to go ahead to marry Damian, I won't be able to stop her, and Damian can't stop it either. I subconsciously let the tears spill from my eyes.

Inside, I was writing everything down. The way Diana's eyes moved to Caroline when she said the word accommodating. The way Caroline's jaw tightened almost not noticeable in response. There was history there, it was old and unresolved. The way Ethan was looking at his hands instead of at me. The way his knee bounced once, twice, then stopped when he caught himself.
