Broken by One, Desired by All
Just my own flushed face staring back at me, my eyes wide, my lips slightly parted.
I exhaled sharply, my shoulders slumping.
Damn him.
I turned back to Ronan, my finger pointing accusingly. “There’s nothing there, you liar!”
Ronan was leaning against the car, his arms crossed over his chest, his grin smug, infuriating. “Hmm,” he hummed, his tone mockingly thoughtful. “Must’ve dried up, then.”
I growled, low in my throat, and launched myself at him.
Ronan caught me easily, his arms circling my waist as I collided with his chest, his laughter rumbling through me. I pounded my fists against his shoulders, my movements more playful than angry, my breath coming in short, sharp gasps.
