Initially, Dahlia's threat to reject me and return to her family shocked me, leaving me momentarily speechless. Was she earnest? It was a tense moment for me, but I resolved to remain cold and maintain the impersonal dynamic. When I pushed her for a response, her eyes revealed a stern, direct, and defiant gaze, as if she didn't care and wanted to reject me outright. It was a tremendous relief when she couldn't utter the words. Triumph and joy surged within me. However, as I stepped out of the room, a sharp pain gripped my heart as I realised that Dahlia had considered rejecting me as her mate. I stood at the door, gazing at the ground, overcome by a strange sadness.

I’m running as fast as I can through the trees, my heart is racing. I feel like it will explode any minute. I can see the opening in the gate, my escape isn’t far off. Reclaiming his ex-wife and her billions at the upcoming Blood Moon Summit remained his only path out of complete bankruptcy, but right now, his own pack was crumbling around him. Dex’s fingers flew across the mechanical keyboard, sounding like a violent hail storm on a tin roof.

DANTE Silently, I eased the door open and peered into the room, spotting one of Orlando's men meticulously arranging the space. It appeared he had been reduced to a servant, a mere houseboy in Orlando's empire. Taking aim at his heart, I squeezed the trigger, the sound of the gunshot punctuating the air. The man crumpled onto the bed, his lifeblood staining the pristine white sheets. One adversary eliminated, leaving six more to confront. Stepping further into the room, Matteo, Tom, and John followed closely behind me, ready for the imminent confrontation. With a subtle nod from me, they dispersed, each armed with the determination to eradicate those despicable men.

Jack, with his agility and strategic acumen, complemented the assault with swift and precise movements. In a moment of convergence, the Red Moon Pack warriors executed a final, decisive move that sealed Dylan's fate. With a synchronized strike, they incapacitated the vampire elder, rendering him defenseless against the impending judgment of his adversaries. As Dylan fell, defeated and no longer a threat, the battlefield fell into a tense silence, broken only by the heavy breaths of the victorious pack members.
