But not on my watch. I moved quickly, entering the hallway and finding the room. Inside were three men, eyes wild with fury. “Who the hell are you?!” one barked, stepping forward. I scanned the room—Paige wasn’t there. “She’s not here,” I muttered. “Hey, I asked you a question!” the man snapped again, fists clenching. They began to circle me. I couldn’t kill them—that would change too much. But I could put them to sleep. Reapers have tricks beyond death.

This is going to be a shitshow. I briefly meet his gaze and I’m happy that Rory is on her phone, probably texting Justin if I had to guess. “Okay, well, I’ll give you a brief rundown and also a refresher for everyone else. Lara patted her hands roguishly “it’s your turn to spit.” Dana blinked innocently. “Not working dearie… spit” Lara made a mocking face. Realizing that Lara would not let her off, Dana admitted defeat and sat back on the sofa.g “Actually, I don’t know either. Role-playing was almost a nightly occurrence. Sometimes we would stage our role-plays outside the safety of our home. On many occasions, I have 'picked her up' in bars. We've also role-played at restaurants, and even on street corners. In case you're thinking that I was responsible for initiating these games, you would be wrong. Most of the time it was Anna who chose the role-playing scenario. Her favorites were forced sex, bondage, and being a submissive little slut.

All of them marked as PLAYER types. Real people transmigrated into the game. None of them marked as NPC. "They're real," I breathed.
